I remember back in `03 I was on a business trip in manhattan and I brought my deck, I sk8d from 45th ave to east village all along broadway and back, and arround central park. When I got back to the hotel I took a shower and the water that was coming off of me was yellow and I felt like I smoked a carton of cigarettes... Im sure I took a couple of months of my life off on that one, but wtv, was totally worth it, the only more than sk8ting hattan is driving!

I gotta say, Im running vista 64-bit on my laptop, and I have no complaints whatsoever... its super solid, super fast, can do many things at once, and Im able to install 32bit apps and they run smoothly... I think it depends on your processor and ram, cause I got enough to go round, so no issues... to boot, I was on the waiting list for beta testing 64bit driver for serato, been benchmarking for 2 days now and Im in heaven!!!!

It is possible Lynn to play a sick set outta 2 cds... compiling before hand and having perticular selector.... bah, there is no reason to get hung up over the method, I am a purist at heart, I love vinyl, but I long ago dropped the whole "only real dj's do it with 12inches", its 2008, it doesnt matter what you use, it just matters what you do(barring ofcourse ipod wanabes).

That being said, if you pre-program sets and burn them in advance, you'd be seriously surprised what little physical material you actually need... for top-40 gigs, I often make mp3 master cds, 4 of those can hold the top40 charts for the past 2-4 years... this is the advantage in using new digital technology...

Ya, I always put too much reverb and echo... not to mention its not mastered or anything, I just hard limited a couple of times to -4db and then normalized, so it still sounds kinda fruity-ish, but I like the direction I trying to produce in these days... trying to make simple stuff, bones produkt with a kick...
