Occassionally, much as many on this site I am sure do, I price compare and shop online for different things (memory sticks, mp3 players, digital cameras etc) and often a great feature on many sites are the customer reviews...

here is the most entertaining one I`ve come across recently :

Reviews of the Samsung Q1 8gb MP3 Player (YP-Q1JCB) - Black on the futureshop website

It's not great, it's super good, 12/15/2008
Reviewer: Tarik, Ottawa, Ontario
This mp3 player has really changed my life too. I don't wake up unhappy anymore I wake up listening to tragic news stories on CBC radio and feel lucky to not be poor and in a war zone. The sound is so crystal clear that I can hear the radio host inhale before every sentence awesome This mp3 player even makes you do good things, like give in charity. The screen is so big and clear that I gave away my 42 inch plasma screen because I have my face glued to this player all the time. This player is a good listener too. I tell all my problems to the voice recorder and it doesn't interrupt me even once. All my problems are gone now thanks to Samsung and Futureshop. My only complaint is that Samsung didn't called this the Samsung Obama player because this player brings change to the world.

I've always found the lack of accurate manners to describe electronic music to people to be so fitting... kinda like the web, we are all so connected yet disconnected at the same time... back in the day, if you wanted to ask some one if they knew a new dylan track for example, you would only need a couple of lyrics and basic melody to asertain if the person knew the track or not... nowadays, most people barely know the artists names, forget the titles, and even then, how do replicate a portion of the track to some one accurately? I think its pretty funny, the fact that we can only make a handful of sounds, it would be really kool to film a whole bunch of people trying to describe their favorite electronic tracks with sounds...

I think what Alex is trying to say, and I personally agree, is that one dimensional people are annoying and boring. Using a color, sexuality, nationality or religion to explain everything you think or do is pretty one dimensional. This type of person can be liked by some, for what he or she is, but that one track in life, to me anyways, represents closed mindedness, delusion, self indulgence, arrogance... oh yes and boringness. Pony`s can be kool, especially if they know a couple of tricks, but unless you suffer from a full frontal labotomy, one trick pony`s suck...

Its not that I mind, I just think its kinda funny, I personally think he's harmless, its just, well, though you're right about the random crap and drama, Im just thinking, if he really likes games that much, and wants to post about them so consistently, it seems a waste to do it here, when he could rejoyce in the accalaids of his peers on gaming board and become the power house gamer he seems to want to be... or maybe he should just track down the young fred savage and ask him what the secrets are to the gaming universe... either way, it was more of an observation and comment then anything...

I think the person who would benefit the most from his banning would be him, I've said it before, he needs to spend more energy on the things that he cares about(music/gigs), rather than wasting it on agrivating the kids on this board, which is really wasting it...

but I dont care either way, as long as he keeps his trolling to a bare minimum, and if he gets outta hand, then a temp ban would be fine...

when I bought my laptop in states last year, I was so paranoid going through the border, thankfully I was with my mom in the car, so we had no hassles, I ditched the receipt and box and wutnot and even made the laptop bag look dusty and used :P

I think its the guilt factor, whenever I go to the states, I always get so nervous going through customs, I picture retarded scenarios like them asking me to pull over, guards openning my trunk and finding like a kilo of something I had no idea was there and then trying to defend myself... gawd I hate that nervous feeling...

ever feel like your chest is going to cave in because of feelings? Like you heart is about to explode? ever feel like the walls are closing in on you? ever feel like you can`t trust anyone? ever feel so choked up that you cant even utter a word, your throat is swollen with doubt, sadness, feelings of anger... ever get so teared up that you can`t see straight? ever look at a building and wonder what it would be like to just jump off? what makes sense in all of this is that there is nothing normal about being normal...
