The Love Parade isn't held in Berlin just because it's more accesible. The 1st Love Parade took place in 1989. 1989 is also the year of...? Dadadadaaaaaaaa!.......The fall of the Berlin Wall! Tighly related with the celebrations of reunited Germany and the 1st Love Parade was far from what goes on now and the reasons have changed also but what started it was a manifestation of joy towards the fall of the wall.

In fact, just to prove that it's not about Berlin being accesible. There are 4 other parades that are helds in other cities of the world as part of the "Love Parade International" every year; Tel Aviv-Israel, Vienna-Austria, Capetown-South Africa and Mexico City-Mexico!.....the end!
