nah man, what you should be looking for, is a good frequency response.....something like sturio monitor headphones.....I recommend the touhg made, tested and used by the pros....SONY MDR-7506



and for headphones that sound great, they aren't that expensive.....plus, once you buy them, you'll be all like "hey I got the same headphones!!!!" when you see superstars recording in studios wearing the same model so yeah ;)
