DonLouis, I don't think the people fighting for those causes are pro-NRA, that's a completely different issue. My opinion very much differs from fishead and Betty's. The right to bear arms to "defend" yourself is to me but an illusion, a fake sense of security, when all it does is breed fear and insecurity. I honestly despise pro-gun activists like Heston with a passion.

I'm an idealist and I firmly believe that we would be better off living without firearms or any advanced weaponry for that matter. But the world sadly doesn't work that way, there will always be evil people in the world who are obsessed with their own personal gain that a world without weapons is pretty much just that... being idealistic or utopic.
