I have one and I wouldn't throw parties to pay rent... the cleanup is way shitty and I wouldnt wanna live here anymore if it was all party all the time. A few parties a year with people I know is enough. It's kinda sad since we have 3900sq ft. and it used to be quite the venue, but neither I nor my roommates would wanna do it anyways.

I know it's wiki, but still... No chalk here, dry ice, glycol, glycerine or mineral oil are used to created fog effects. Glycerol is probably what you smell it'sweet tasting which is exactly what I find the smoke machines fogs smell/taste like.
