Ruined: I forgot my ipod in the cafeteria at school, someone ran off with it and my nice headphones.
Ruined: Not motivated to do anything for my project which is due the next day.
Ruined: I'm feeling depressed a bit, things arent looking so good.
Ruined: Had to ask my cousin if I could borrow money... I dont like botehring my friends and family with this kind of shit.
Made: At least I'm not dead :P

Today:

Made: My old job wants to hire me through me new employer and have me do replacements on week ends, which means 6 days x 12h training = $$$
Made: Starting a new job, money will finally start flowing in again.
Made: Dad sent me an email, it said: "Le pere noel est passé dans ton compte de banque HOHOHO!" couldnt have been at a better time.
Made: iPod is back, there was one guy I thought might have picked it up to make sure no one left with it and he brought it back to the front desk today!

Meh art is something which will always get bashed and praised... I'm in graphic design, some of you may find my work amazing, others may find it horrible, it is all subjective and personal. Getting pissed cuz someone doesnt like your painting is just retarded, so is getting mad at some random dude who based an inferior quality painting on yours.

The guy is taking this shit way too seriously, I take my work very seriously as well, but unless someone is making money off copying my shit, then I'm just happy that person is learning from what I made, that is all that matters.

As for the paintings, I dont like either of them, the image composition isnt that great, Julien's execution is better, the other one is obviously amateur work. I think Julien's is asymmetric when really it should be, especially when it comes to the female forms at the bottom. I must admit it is well rendered, I know all too well how hard it is to work with fluorescent inks on silk or other light canvas and actually have good looking gradients.

Either/or be happy someone likes work enough to get inspired instead of getting high and mighty. Humility is a trait that isnt found often enough in competent artists, whatever the field.

I think you know how to use photoshop to lighten some parts of the image, but nice try. I for one know you can hold a brush :P
