I just looked it up and all I find is websites dedicated to all forms of personality disorders. Might not be "littles", but I'm curious, are you referring to Peter Pan Syndrome by any chance?

And the best poker player... there are MANY excellent pros, my favorites are Phil Ivey and Gus Hansen. I especially like Gus cuz he's completely wild and will never play a game the same way, it's always a new character thats at the table.

ark...

I seriously think most candies go WAYYYYYYYY overboard on this shit... When 75% of your arms are covered in multicolored bracelets you're not only unoriginal but ridiculously tacky.

A lot of the candy kids have nice original suits/kits which is all good, but the vast majority, at least to me, look like unicorns on crack with too much time on their hands.

That last bracelet is a prime example of going WAY overboard to try to look cool to their peers.

Emilie is in Ottawa now, back to her roots. She never really liked Quebec much and missed her hometown a lot (I think thats why she didnt like Quebec much). From what she's told me she's been in a relationship with the same guy for a long while now and she's doing fine.

Look her up on facebook, she's in my friends :P

So here we go definition of gambling, let me know when you get out of denial.

"gambling - the act of playing for stakes in the hope of winning (including the payment of a price for a chance to win a prize)"

Dude,

Can you prove that you will win 100% of games?
No, you cant.

Are you paying to play?
Yes you are.

Is there a chance you will lose the money you invested?
Yes there is, in fact if all players have equal skill then your chances of winning are 1/n (n = number of players)

Any pro will tell you that it still is gambling. Any pro will admit that their chances of winning the title at any given tournament is under 5% if not less. Get with the program, you are talking like an addict living in denial who KNOWS he's gonna win... yeah, right.

Erm, do I really need to link a definition of the word gambling?

Dude, some games have crap odds, some games have variable odds which are dependant on skill, NLHE is such a game. If you could have enough skill to win 100% of the time then fine ti wouldnt be gambling, not one pro has a chance of even 50% of winning... Why? Shit hands, noobs at the table who make very bad decisions and cripple you on the turn or the river, a clash of two big hands that goes left and right until the river, those quad 2s are a good example.

DENIAL dude D-E-N-I-A-L.

Je pense que t'as rien compris... Poker is a game of skill, there is luck involved, but if you are a regular Gus Hansen and play 4-9 offsuit as if it were cowboys then luck doesnt matter... if you get called on such a bluff then your LUCK just ran out.

It is a game of skill and probabillity, but never underestimate lady luck.

Live in denial all you want it IS gambling.

A WSOP Bracelet is NOT a WSOP main event tournament winner. Those are two very different things.

As for the argument, it IS gambling, but it can be a calculated risk.

Smartest thing I heard all week.

I say the man is entitled to compensation. I doubt he will win, but I think he got screwed and she deserves to pay. yes he knew what it entitled, 10-15 years less to live possibly... but when you've been married for 10-15 years and the woman you love needs it you tell yourself 30-40 years more with her is well worth it.

He got fucking screwed... bitch needs to pay up.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Dude seriously, coda has very small capacity. I may have exagerated, but isnt it like a 200-300 person venue? Unless they totally renovated I dont see 1000 people ever fitting in that club... not in a million years.

Throwing events which will attract massive amounts of people should NEVER be booked at fucking Coda. I froze my ass off in the lineup last year for Uffie and decided never to go to another event there. The club is as big as a medium sized bathroom and promoters HABITUALLY over pack it.

There were over 500 people outside and the capacity is about 100. From what I could tell Crystal Castles was attracting a lot of people, booking them at Coda was a bad move unless they made it a small show with ONLY people who got tickets in advance, otherwise it's just asking for trouble.

So, who promoted this shitstorm?

I still think "There is no such thing as flopping skills" is a very accurate statement. But hey, the way HLHE works is not how much you win, but how little you lose and that is all skill.à

But Olee, it still is gambling, you can try and rationalize it any way you want, it is what it is.

Goa Trance was named from the indian state where it originated, Goa Trance has evolved and developped a lot in Europe and the rest of the world. The state of Goa is still considered as some sort of hippy mecca.

This thread needs more fail police to keep retardo in check.

As for poker games, I'm in if you play during the week, possibly on sundays, dunno if my brain can handle a poker face and getting good reads after a 12 hour night shift but I wouldnt mind giving it a shot.

I personally play NLHE and cant stand buy-ins... Too many noobs with money use it as a cruitch and go way too agressive on hands with very low percentage of winning just to see if they get lucky.
