I just bought two pairs of these. One for my girlfriends fashion store (i.e. play CD's and IPODS all day) and some for my studio. They sound great in the store (i.e. have bass etc) and I am yet to use them in my studio. My suspicion is that in the studio, I'll have to adjust a little for the extra bass (i.e. they are not clean sounding)...but once I get used to them they will be great value. I've DJ'ed on them already and they rocked my block! All in all a great deal, well made, and once I learn their character...I'm sure they are great for a budding producer.
