Hey assholes exist everywhere, so naturally some are going to turn up at a party now and again. Don't let it dissuade you from going out to an event if you love the music!

I was at the same party and yeah, the coat check was a disaster! I thankfully didn't suffer any losses and was able to snag my coat as soon as I got to the coat check area. (it was right in front of the tables) However a buddy of mine had smokes, chocolate, and some booze taken from his back pack, and another friend waited over two hours to get his coat back. Major fail.

That being said, I've been to quite a few events over the year and I can't say that the one bad experience on NYE will make me shit on the scene as a whole.On NYE the people working the coat check were SHITFACED drunk, but bad organization and lack of control over staff can happen at ANY night. Quite frankly Excision @ the just for laughs museum was one of the best nights I had out in a really long time. Except for the fire alarm being pulled by some dumbass, the night was a smashing success in my eyes.
