Amen. Speaking of scary movies, I remember in grade 4 for Halloween my teacher showed us the original night of the living dead in black and white. I don't think I slept for a week straight. And my teddy bears at the foot of my bed were standing guard ;) And I don't know if this is only for me, but I don't remember EVER being cold in winter when I was a kid. EVER! I remember being soaked to the bone from the snow, but I don't ever remember being cold. I miss it.
