| Coolness: 93155 | IT's ok to have new dj'S play at party's but one should be careful where you place them! at the beginning is good because you will have the hype of the new dj who usually bring everybody including his mom so the party starts earlier!(i'VE HEARD some djs play great first sets cause they prepared themselves right) But i've seen a lot of dj-promoters book themselves at the 2pm peekspot! while there djs skills are lacking,and the veteran dj is playing at 10pm,it makes no since! another thing is a lot of new dj'S play lots of crappy sounding mp3 and are lethal to the ears at a large volume so at the beginning of a party its better because the sound is usually lower(and don'T get me started on mixerpeaking!) ps:and UFOT is right there is so much fukin talent in MTL its sick! i'VE TRAVELLED ABROAD and honestly i think were in a class of r own! |

| Coolness: 93155 | I think all the dj's should mix at the same time but sadly a lot of the newkids dont risk it! but seriously if your gonna book lotsa djs might as well do it in a 20 minute rotation! if you want your 4 or 5 hour sets might as well buy yourself some gay hardhouse and play at an afterhours club |

Maybe I just like it because I just have to walk down the hall, go out one door, walk up the street about 200 paces, then enter another door to get there, but it's already better than a half-basement. I'd say don't hunt this tiny bar out, let it find you, hehe. Before I first moved to Montreal I ran into several places that I haven't been able to locate since. Most of the city is bars. But yeah Meganne, don't get too affected by the disses of the jerky regulars on here. They do lame shit like hitting people with sticks or drawing stupid mustaches on themselves so it's not really like you have to give them the time of day. it was 3 for 10$ last week but only tip 1 time yay! |
