... DynV, I sympathize with you.. I used to have pretty bad self esteem issues. I'm still not the most confident person.. sometimes I'm shyer than others, but I'm definately a lot more out-going than I used to be. I've gained a lot of confidence in myself in the past years, and most of that is due to raving. You really can't find a more accepting crowd.

What might be a good idea to start off is maybe start talking to some ppl and getting to know them on [ rave.ca ] Then, when you see them at a party, you'll already know them a little bit from talking to them online, and maybe it will be a little less awkward. That's how I got to know some of the first ppl I started hanging with in raves. BTW, what is this event you're going to?
