It's maybe because you developped muscles that you weight about the same, but your body toned up and you're in better shape, which is very good.

As for me, I have to avoid diets, that's what my doc said. My family made the mistake to put me on the diet for YEARS while I was growing up, from as early as age 8. With years and years of starving, I developped several health problems (hypoglycaemia, fragile bones, teeth and articulations, atrophied heart, cartillage problems, pressure drops), I have to deal with this for all my life. I now stick to eating well (and enough), exercice, lots of good times and relaxation, not to drop weight, but to be healthy. Finally. It's way more important than looking good, even though I believe someone can look good with some extra pounds.

LOL I agree with Rawali on that! I've been once to the Rocky Horror picture show and had a blast, it was fucking hilarious!

And for the weight loss, I'll go with Lynzyn: eating well and regular exercice is the key. That's the best way to drop weight, remaining healthy AND not gaining it back, it's the best on the long run. Diets can be pretty dangerous as they're not balanced at all. Plus, a sudden weight loss is a huge stress for the body, in fact it's more harmful than remaining overweight.

Looking at the picture in the first post makes me wanna puke. Seriously. I don't even understand how someone could think "hey, that looks yummy, I wanna eat it".
