Skate shoes are not made to jog, they don't reduce impacts properly and the sole is too flat, which could cause awful pain. Basketball shoes do for running though, since this sport is all about running and jumping shoes have to be made to absorb shocks.

I love [ www.fredflare.com ] a lot. Unfortunately they don't have much men's clothing, but they have tons of cool accessories.

It depends what style of clothes you're looking for. eBay is always a good bet, just look carefully at the size chart because a L in China and a L in USA are 2 different things. Etsy is nice too, never know what you can find in there since all the stuff sold is handmade. Digital Gravel is great, they mostly have shirts and all the sellers are underground designers.

I agree RCA that's a great motto. I never understood why people are mean just for the sake of it. It feels much better to be a nice person!

ONLY 6 hours? It's more like 10 hours or shop till you drop, whatever happens first.

House of 1000 corpses is good! I saw it in theater when it came out, it was entertaining to say the least. :)

I want feta cheese, weed, a new bike and one of those huge beanbags!

I used to do that when I was in Qc City (at the Hilton too, weird)! Swimming in a warm pool when it's cold outside the water is priceless.

I guess that's the kind of things you learn when you get close to die. You realize how lucky you are to just be alive and you need to enjoy it to the fullest while it lasts. I don't know for the other people, but for me, cynism is NOT what makes me enjoy life. Sure being realistic is essential, but I don't need to turn sour and see the glass half-empty to feel like I am.

Despites all you say Screwhead, there is good and beautiful things in this world. Wars, diseases, violence and natural disasters have always been, and will always be part of it. But the world isn't just a hostile place. Every time I kiss someone I love, hear awesome music, my cat comes to me in the morning purring in my face, I eat delicious food, get a hug from a friend, look at clouds or stars, get a smile back from people I walk by on the street or look at a beautiful person, I tell myself life is good. Life is great. Life is awesome. It's a question of perception. Just focus on what makes your heart sing.

Oh well, I already feel much better, so I guess I'm on my way to recovery. Just a few days ago, walking from my room to the kitchen was a challenge and now I'm pretty much back to normal.

I have to be true I thought about it. I had a mono when I was 16 and it felt pretty much like it.

But aren't we supposed to be immune against that shit once we had it?

I'm recovering from I don't know which nasty bacteria. I had no energy at all, like I was sleeping at least 18 hours a day, and was so weak and dizzy I had a hard time to stand on my feet. But it wasn't flu or anything like that, I didn't cough or something. I was just super weak. That was weird, I can't explain what happened.

Well I was thinking of "real" scars that you don't get intentionally. They're a bit like trophies and tell more about the person's story.

None. I wouldn't like some on me though some scars can be sexy, like a small cut on the cheek bone, the forehead or the eyebrow.

I got roses about the same place than your lotus. Agreed it didn't hurt much there, except when the guy was doing the outer leaves (that were reallyyyyyyyyy close to my arm and ribs), I had to hold my breath and then back to the conversation with my friend while it was getting done.
