this party was real chill, everyone seemed to be relaxed and having a good time, I was abit tired but the music kept me going

alright just to clear up some misconceptions about the bible..

1. the books of the old testament were compiled and edited around 1000-400 BC, most likely by the scholarly and priestly class of the Israelites as a means to unite the people by establishing worship of one deity, Yahweh, and to justify the divine rule of the king

2. some of the old testament describes history that is known to be true because we have archeoligical evidence of writings from neighboring people (ex Assyrians, Babylonians, etc) which contain similar events

So basically I'm not saying that because the Bible says there is god means its true, but to understand the bible you have to view it in its context, which is like Spooky said, a means to unify, strengthen, and establish control over the Israelites both pre and post exile

It was a pretty sick party..though I gotta admit its not really my type of music. L'X was definetly the best place for this: a hardcore venue for hardcore music. It was nice seeing such a mix of people you dont normally expect to see in the same place, that is untill about 4 when it seemed the punks and metalheads left and only the 'ravers' stayed. DJ's trying to pump the crowd up was cool.

a good place to escape to is Dahab, Egypt. Its cheap as hell (you can live on $10 a day) theres a nice beach, sunny and hot all the time, lots of foreigners end up finding work there and living for a few years

my christmas wish came true, i got to spend it in Bethlehem, it was a mind blowing experience. I took a bus from Jerusalem that left me off at the millitary checkpoint, I crossed that on foot to the Palestinian side then took a shared taxi to manger square. the church of the nativity was filled with people from all around the world, the grotto underneath was packed with pilgrims waiting to touch the star marking the spot where Jesus was born. afterwards i spent some time walking around the town, even though it was somewhat rainy the narrow streets and marketplace were absolutely packed with people stocking up on food and other supplies in preparation for the return of the Israeli siege. i stopped in a coffehouse and ended up sharing the table with a few palestinians playing cards, they bought me coffee and one of them started talking about the situation, how the last 14 days they couldnt leave their homes, and now they had one day left to enjoy being outside before they would be under curfew again. so anyways it was just a really powerful day for me and I wanted to shareit.

sometimes i find that when i'm drunk i can deal with issues that i have trouble dealing with normally because of the emotional pain they bring..so i understand what your saying sorta

maybe your teacher made a mistake...ask him/her to go over your marks with you, you never know. once in gr9 i got a mark lower than i expected, and it turns out it was their mistake and i ended up getting 10% higher
