Yesterday morning I wrote my last exam, and with school out of the way I am finnaly able to spend a few days devoted to inner exploration. Ever since my last DXM experience (at 240mg) a few weeks ago, I've been eager to try a higher dose, and decided to shoot for a strong 3rd plateau trip. Since I knew 620mg would be way too much for a social setting, yet far below any risk of overdose, I decided to do it alone.

I eyeballed half of a bag containing a gram, swallowed the powder in a rolling paper, and topped it off with a cap containing an additional 120mg. Just 10 minutes later I felt effects characteristic of the 1st plateau, including music and motion-linked euphoria, but these effects subsided shortly after. What followed next was a long waiting period of about 1.5 hours, as it seemed I had passed the 1st plateau but had yet to reach the second.

I must have noticed the effects coming on, as at some point I left my computer and went to lie down on some cushions. At this point my memory is unclear, as the next few hours I was barely conscious at all and I can't remember much of the next four hours. I became completely unaware of my body, or even of where I physically was. Tt seemed as if my spirit/mind had become free and could phsysically wander around my room at will. My eyes were closed this whole time, and I was able to mentally "see" an image of my room and move around it without of course phsycially moving. This had all the trademarks of an out-of-body experience (my 1st ever) and at one point I became quite certain that I was about to die. This was accompanied by a wave of panic, but I was able to calm myself and realize shortly after that this was merely a sensation and that I was not actually dying.

One of the most positive aspects of the trip was my ability to reflect on some particular aspects of my life in a very emotionally detached manner, as if I was analyzing my life from a 3rd person point of view. I could trace causal chains between events, as if viewing a broader web if interconnected events. This was my first experience with DXM i'd consider to be psychedelic, and i'd consider it very valuable.

Overall, it was an inmtense, unnerving experience. I felt a "hangover" lasting for a few hours into this morning, but it has since subsided.

in many countries i've travelled through, they never supply toilet paper so you always have to carry your own. and worse still, the toilets can't flush toilet paper so you have to throw it in the garbage after. yuck.

What does it say about our society when so many of us need to be on drugs 24/7 just to function within it and adhere to its demands?

Whether its prescribing a generation of schoolkids amphetamines to boost their performance at school, or medicating away sadness with a script for SSRI's, it seems as if our society has turned to drugs to keep the ball rolling. But maybe the problem resides not with the individuals who are given drugs to fix them, but with the society that prounounces them broken in the first place. Perhaps there is something very profoundly wrong with our system, and the expectations placed on us as its members, and drugs are a tool to keep the average person placated with a life that would otherwise be unbearable. Maybe we need to collectively throw away our scrips, and instead insist on addressing the root cause of just what is wrong with this society when drugs become neccesary to cope.

yup, the potency of 2c-i is really incredible..but think of LSD which is measured in millionths of a gram. i'd say an average cap of mdma is more like 80-120mg though.

LMAO..that doesn't surprise me at all, actually. Even creative writing requires a large amount of structure and adherence to linguistic norms. And psychedelics temporarily release the mind from its conditioned ways of thinking, which means that it wouldn't be uncommon to temporarily forget all the technical aspects of writing an essay. Probably the only creative act that people have success on while actually under the influence of psychedelics is abstract art, since there aren't too many established norms that one must follow (indeed, often the goal is to produce something that is completely free of pre-existing structure). On the other hand, if you are able to jot down the ideas you have while tripping, and are able to do so in a way that at least you will be able to understand it after, then the next day is ripe for taking those ideas and expressing them within the structural model of an essay or other piece of writing.

i doubt it..that listing is 4 years old, and the ying yang is a pretty common symbol thats probably appeared on many different pills across N.American from time to time. Not to mention that no one could mistake the effects of DXM for speed. a low dose of DXM *might* be mistaken for ecstasy, but only by someone who doesn't know what real MDMA is supposed to be like

As nasty as it is to see needles lying around, hayley has a point in that its pretty fucking unlikely to have a needle actually pierce one's skin, even if one DID step on it, because of course the needle would be lying horizontally and not pointing upwards. I think as a result of all that stuff they tell you as kids (don't talk to strangers if they offer you candy, don't play with needles you find in the park, etc) people automatically associate a needle lying around with a danger of getting HIV...when the actualy danger is miniscule.

It was Wednesday morning at 8AM, and eight straight hours of studying, combined with maybe six hours of sleep in the previous two days, were beginning to take their toll. I tried to look at some practice questions, but my mind was skipping all over the place, missing words and drifting off into oblivion. Worse still, in just an hour I would have to write my macro-economics exam, 150 difficult multiple choice questions in three hours of frantic HB pencil scribbling.

I had always resisted the urge to boost with amphetamines, but today I would give in. I had some extra powederized speed that I knew I wouldn't end up taking anyways, and it was calling my name. I mixed about 1/3 of a pill's worth into a bottle of juice, drank about half of it 30 minutes before the exam, and continued taking sips until I emptied the bottle about halfway through. By taking the speed in increments, I figured I could avoid too intense of a peak, while maintaining a nice, constant buzz.

It worked so well. Almost too well. My focus increased dramatically, every word on the exam seemed clear and sharp. I was able to analyze all the questions with effortless, razor-sharp precision. Moreover, on speed, writing the exam was actually fun. The excess dopamine released by the speed was boosted by a little natural release of dopamine with every answer that I knew to be correct. I was one of the few people who actually completed the exam. I'm almost positive I'm getting an "A" in that course (the exam is worth 100% of the grade) - not bad considering I didn't even attend a single class, tutorial, or review session all semester.

And that's the problem. Speed works so well, its exetrememly positiviely enforcing; ie take speed ---> get high grades easily ---> desire to take more speed. And sooner or later, too much speed ---> burnout. So next time I'll do my best to actually get some sleep the night before :)

No, Jews do not have similar features AT ALL and most defintely do not qualify as a race. The two main "races" that Jews belong to are white-european and middle eastern-arab. The white Jews used to speak their own language (Yiddish) and had their own seperate culture in Europe. The arab Jews spoke Arabic and developed a culture that was very much middle-eastern and had few similarities to the European jewish culture. There are even black African Jews as well that comprise a third race. Its just that most jews in North American belong to the white-european category, but in israel its about 50-50.

Please don't go around saying stupid, harmful shit like this, because there are people who might actually consider it legitimate advice. Ketamine and alcohol is a dangerous combination, period. You may get away with doing it, but all it takes is a few drinks too many, or a slightly too large bump, and some naive k-tard is gonna end up in the hospital or dead. And I have yet to see anyone weigh bumps on a scale before doing em, so I have no idea how "doing a proper dosage" even enters the picture when the dose is unknown.

On the other hand, if you really want to have a true ketamine experience, then find some liquid K, a 1-1.5" 25-27 gauge needle, and inject 100mg worth into the muscle of the thigh or buttocks. Snorting K is a complete waste compared to IM, and injecting is no more dangerous than snorting (and ALOT safer than combining with alcohol) provided you use the proper technique and keep it clean.

^^ 2C-I is a phenethylamine which was first synthasized by Alexander Shulgin in the 1980's. Its effects are somewhat like a cross between MDMA and acid, with a strong "body high" component. Its a white powder best taken orally or sublingually (under the tongue) and is usually found sold in gelcaps or pressed pills with an "i" on them.
