I had stopped watching South Park after season 3. I have recently started watching everything I've missed since, and I have to say that I am quite impressed. Not AT ALL as stupid as I used to feel it was. Most of the time, it simply serves to show how much political correctness has made us abandon logic little by little.

I'm thinking the landlord's name must be on the bill, otherwise they wouldn't have paid it. But they most likely have something saying what bill corresponds to what part of the building, as well as the lease stating what part of the building they were occupying.
I'd just STFU, pay the 2-3 months and hope that they don't catch up on the 2 years you mentionned.

But then again, if you do pay and they realize later that you owe them those 2 years, you pretty much admitted that you were responsible for the bill...
