wow, gamos, that last post was the most enlightened thing i've ever read from you.

things do often get out of hand on this site, and no one is really to blame.

the neoform situation aside, cutterhead is a good guy. whatever beef those two have, i stay clear of, just like he did when i got tricked into some rave 'net bullshit (which has since been cleared, thank you very much :p )

not many people realize just who is friends with whom in real life here, or what their real principles and values are; and not knowing someone gets us into trouble sometimes. i like alot of ppl on this site, and hate to see flame-wars pop up every other day as if it was normal to be at eachother's throats and call eachother fag or idiot.

there is plenty of fun & interesting shit on this site without having to give in to urges to fight and conspire to cause unnecessary drama and outrage. there is too much 'reputation destruction' and petty in-fighting. a lot of people have worked hard at being good, and doing their damnedest to survive and succeed in the 'rave' scene, just to have it all torn apart by some bored user.

on the other hand, if you ignore the problem, or just try to do the right thing, there is a fear that ppl will think you are wrong, or the badguy. have faith that good people recognize other good people. who gives a fuck about the assholes.

maybe Neko (cutterhead) doesn't always express himself properly in written english, and there are ppl who have a hard time expressing themselves in french or in general; it's no reason to insult or slander.

... and maybe this ^ is just cheesy as fuck & too zen & long winded, but i guess i'm in a sobering mood.

peace, friends.

americans would hire sell-out hackers, or make deals with imprisoned ones, and try to eradicate linux from 'puters with a series of nasty viruses. Bill Gates would be crowned a Savior king. Without linux, people who use freeware would no longer be able to afford software, as microsoft would - having a monopoly - jack up all their prices, and use the opportunity to disassemble all pirating. Because things become un-affordable + windows crashes all the time, it would create a lack of ppl using 'puters, the internet would die, and we'd all go back to using telephones ... oh yeah, and i'd be pissed off :p

ps. side note: my spell check says 'internet' needs to be capitalized... what's up with that? - lol

true :) ... but when i saw him last time, i really enjoyed the experience, and it was just that: an experience, rather than just listening to noise at home... which i can't really do anyway 'cause my neighbors will probably call the Douglas Hospital :p

(btw, the last show was at the sala rosa, and the sound was great - not too loud, but very good :D )

en effet, mais c'est pour ca que du 'hardcore' j'adore... it's the rare style of techno that is in no way restricted to tempo. of course, people will call the slow stuff 'doomcore' and the fast stuff 'speedcore' but it's just hardcore to me...anywhere from, all joking aside, 90 bpm to 320 bpm.

as a whole genre, hardcore is restricted to one thing: distortion :p

je ne trouve pas du happy lent ni calme, mais just pas 'hard' non plus.

mais t'as entirement raison pour ce qui est du monde qui ecoutent du pop comme tu dit, du happy doit sembler pas mal hardcore pour eux :)

so they switched the labeling from Happy to UK...

i don't know what you're talking about Deadfunk... big beat for me is: chemical brothers, prodigy, leftfield, etc. ... i'd even throw some underworld, FSOL, and certain aphex twin, in there :)

i love 136 XD

hardcore: goes from 50 to 5000 bpm :) ...i like the range.

ideal line-up for me: breaks-idm / dubstep / big beat / hardtechno / hardcore (followed by more hardcore) / industrial / psy / ...end with hours of sonic youth/pixies/nirvana/soundgarden/etc.

remember that bpm isn't the only important thing when mixing styles, mood and 'style' matter too.
ie. breaks to d'n'b can work, or hardtechno to hardcore.

(imo :p )

wut, you're gonna eat peas 'n' rice, for 6$?

sounds expensive for a really shitty meal...

bag of pasta for 1.29$ + can of tomato paste for .59$ : assuming you have water + spices, is a much better deal :)

but there is a problem, some ingredients and basic foods can be found cheap, but the things you need to buy to make a complete meal, are still expensive...
