Yeah, Phase 2 was amazing. Mimetic, Imminent & Winterkälte were the best for me.

Yeah, Matt, a few of the more EBM-ish bands cheat a bit, but apparently that's how they roll in that scene. On the other hand, the bands that really played totally live made up for it, and the energy during those sets was so much more potent... Example: Winterkälte & Noisex & Das Ich!

The entire event was awesome, from the great music, to the chill artists, to the zombified BBQ.
Sound & lights were wicked, and all the people who were there from around the world were all very nice and made for a great crowd/audience. And there were so many people!

I had fun DJing on Thursday... and though i worked my nuts off for 5 days, it was most definitely worth it!!

A huge Thank You to Kyo & Kao & Rich for putting this together and giving everyone a great time. Every year MTL's Industrial festival gets bigger n' better, and now it's HUGE.

Hats-off to you all who participated.

ps. thnx to Lucas, Dave and Fred who worked along side me, and did an incredible job with the stage and sound. you guys rock.

seriously! i just saw a brief clip on the news about today's 'celebrations' and saw the Gazebo in the vid, i thought: "WTF? are they using the gazebo?" ... i was a little pissed off...

I suggest that other people also write letters to those e-mail addresses you posted... keep your letters fairly polite/diplomatic and smart though ;)

Montreal has this terrible streak of abusing the 'rules' on music events when it's to their advantage, and rejecting projects that involve non-pop electronic music are not directly affiliated with the city. It's hypocritical, and it's getting really irritating.

Don't forget: Mayor Tremblay is up for re-election soon, now is the time to act.

just got back from phase 1 ...wicked. the show was sold out, there were so many people! 90% of them wearing black :p

Terrorfakt had a bunch of ppl on stage grinding big metal containers and carts (the showers of sparks looked great XD ), and making good use of sledgehammers.

Marching Dynamics were really cool .. and MTL's own Memmaker kicked ass, crowd loved it.

but i can't wait 'til saturday..!
