also, fruity loops is now really good for that kind of slicing.. can't really explain it, since i know fruity visually, but it's real efficient for slicing up loops. it's all done in the pattern panel, where you can copy the loop, see it, and cut it up.

sorry, i know fruity loops really well, but i suck at explaining how to work it :p

yeah, it's usually at about 140 bpm.. most tunes are between 135 and 145 bpm...

but, i've heard plenty of tunes ranging from 60 bpm (120 bpm) to 90 bpm (180 bpm)..

it's a rare form of EDM in which, like hardcore, the style is not determined by the tempo ...

yeah, i suffer from strident tinnitus once in a while, and there is constant low level buzz in my ears.. it's obviously from years of concerts, parties, DJing, and crappily done sound at shows.. not to mention DJs who put too many fucking highs in their mix!

it's normal in a society of noise pollution and music lovers.. some ppl have it naturally, and for those ppl apparently it sounds like a plane going over their head for hours on end.. ouch :/
