i dream even though i smoke up before sleeping most of the time, but my dreams come at the end, near when i wake up.

and yeah, Melatonin can make you dream more. I've taken some to sleep when i couldn't smoke, not quite as efficient for me, but you don't lose so much in the dreams department.
