I knew you'd say something, and I'm glad you did...I'm also glad you explained yourself rather than throw me to the dogs ;-) ... ... however, seeing as how I've only been to QC a few times (and once I didn't get the expected welcome, and the other and didn't see the expected crowd - and wondered why), I don't know how you run things, but from distant observation and through others' comments, I came to that conclusion, but I do know that you guys work as a big Krew to get your shit together, and it's comendable, but I also see how things work in MTL and we SEEM alot poorer, that's all, I didn't mean to say that you we're all rich! I guess that's the beauty of QC, since your population is limited you guys can work together, here, it's all, unfortunately, every man/woman for themselves... but I'm not jealous, I like working alone (well, at least with myself and Bilbo) ... on the other hand, maybe QC & MTL should work together more often (it would also help if you said hello to me more than every fourth time you saw me at a party! Then again nobody HAS to like me, so don't worry)... ...and speaking of breakcore, we'll soon see if MTL can take it (ssshhhhhhhh, it's still a secret for now), and maybe some QCers will come down for that... ... ...anyway, I hope I didn't hurt your feelings... ... ... hats off to your good work up there... ... ...

Yeah, God is a DJ, and he mixes gospel house, poorly... ...eitherway, everything above depends on the DJ him/herself, you see most people know that I'm the DJ that hates DJs, but I do have a large handfull of DJ friends who are chill, and others I'd just as soon forget. There are too many DJs, and there are alot of shitty ones, and alot that are in it for the wrong reasons, reasons (like that we are always in the midst of an orgy) that are entirely unfounded, but there are alot of kick ass ones that are there for good reason, and they inspire. Nonetheless, every little DJ needs a chance to prove themselves, but at some point, the choosing of DJs for an event is rarely based on talent. For some promoters anyway. So now that I've alienated a bunch of people, I would like to add that, as far as the difference between DJs/producers is concerned, I haven't any idea 'cause I do both, as alot of us do... ...But, there is a flipside to all this, it isn't necessarily cool to BE a DJ, 'cause you're never sure why people want to be your friend... ... ...one last note; I really like what DJs are called in the reggae world: SELECTORS ... ...alright, that's enough... ...

For doomcore check out BlackMonolithRecords, founded by Skinner, out of NewYork, which has SomaticResponses, and theOutsideAgency, among others...for all sorts of hardcore, check out Provoke rec., which has AlCore (of micropoint), MattGreen, BryanFury, etc... ... ...there are alot more HC labels out there than one might think... ...

Missed it...I was in Rigaud for the punk RigaudShow (no emos!!!)...I agree w/ Meloodie, '98 was the best year for Vans...since, on the ads/posters I've seen, there are as many sponsors as there are bands, and that DOES NOT SIT WELL with my own personal punk mentality...so once was enough for me... ...that's all I have to say on the subject... ...
