All I know is that Betty Haze is classy, regardless of the purposefully silly things she posts, and that she is NOT a liar, nor an anti-semetic, but she is highly intelligent. Posting lame poorly photoshopped pics of her, and putting words in her mouth, and using easy insults/buzz words, cannot take any of that away from her. I couldn't care less about what insults she may have thrown your way (dtm), 'cause clearly you called you called her out, accusing her of being a liar, so you get the "you started it" award. Bravo. Betty and her husband are some of the best people I know...and, sorry DTM, but you have no power over them, nor anybody else on this thread nor on this planet, even if you think that you are playing with them as toys, you are so so very wrong. And you accused someone else as sharing the IP # ? Can you read? The IP numbers were different when I checked. That, along with pretty much everything else you've said about Betty, which I would love to point out line by line but don't have the time for, is WRONG. Seriously, I know her well, and NOTHING you've said about her is true.

By the way, this sort of thing happens alot on [ rave.ca ] and if you think that it's below your class level, you being from Ontario and therefore automatically "better" than the rest of us, maybe you should bitch around another site, until you realize you have also become part of the problem. THIS is [ rave.ca ] this is the constant raverbitchfest, but it's also a great place where people can post events, and exhange opinions, diversive or not. Get used to it. Just don't pretend to know what you are talking about, and don't accuse people of doing things that you are also gulity of. Example: "Her and Host_one are just here to try and make themselves feel good by bugging others who they think they are better than." ...please insert your name in that sentence...

So, flame wars are weak, stop calling people liars when you just don't have the facts - especially if you're being vindictive due to some prior flame war (if you don't mind), chill out (if you need to), drink your beer(if you have some); and if you have the time, it would be appreciated if you left your fascism off of this site.

Venue was fine, sound was good, Laval is sketchy, Indica kicked ass (especially the last 30min of his set), and Frankie bleedin' Bones was brilliant; some driving minimal shit, some pretty hard shit at the top, the first half of his set was awesome...solid all around ... .. .

If it has nothing to do with DJs, producers, techno, raves, music, intelligence, people who are potty trained, hardcore, drum n' bass, psytrance, respect, or skills, then why ask our goddam opinion on the matter... .. .? This is [ RAVE.ca ] u can go to [ CTV.ca ] and check out the Canadian Idol section, might be helpful...

Anyway, as Screwhead mentioned, just substitute "DJ" for whatever u want, and my previous statements still stand...as do everyone else's 1st posts that have been shot down, yet proven right since...but whatever...

And, as for Rave vs. Afterhours: raves will win, and they always will...'cause we never give up.

Well, I just went trough 8 pages of this crap, so I might as well give my opinion on the matter...

"Concept personnage x": First of all, this sounds like a concept Slipknot would thought of; popularity through anonimity......but DJs should not be famous due to outrageaous concepts and silly promotional tactics, they should be known for their skills and merit...otherwise we are no better than Celine Dion, or the winner of American Idol...
Besides all the above idealistic shit, the fact of the matter is that there is a label that has pulled off a simialr concept quite nicely, through the publication of music, wherein the artists are not specified on the record...basically, the (usually already established) artists go about doing whatever they want, but their song realeased on this label only are not credited to the artist, so when someone picks up the record, they listen to the tunes they like, regardless of who may have written it (and there are already thousands of white lebels out there anyway)... ...it's a way of putting the music first... ...but making performing DJs anonimous is just kinda dumb...souns more like prison than anything else, "would DJ 7142 please step forward", or in this case: "would DJ X please step forward...",reply:"That's me! wait, or is that you?","no it's him over there...oh, I don't know anymore"...

Anyway, props to trying to think of a new concept, but as you can see from the last 8 pages, I doubt you have public support...I suggest that next time you just do it, go for it, take your chances, and don't tell anyone until it's organized, otherwise you will continue getting well justified negative feedback...Asking people here for their opinion on something before it's conrete is like asking someone to shoot you in the stomach...and right now you are destroying your name, like a hole in a vital organ....

There are all sorts of possibilities, put on your thinking cap and think of something new, something that has not aleady been done... .. .
