Yeah, I understand where you're coming from, I've seen parties in the past whose names were blasphemously off base compared to the styles represented at said party,(as a vague non-finger-pointing example: events w/ the word Hard in them that just aren't that hardcore) but no one really complains 'cause it's no big deal...If you know your genres/DJs and you check the line-up you should be able to discern what's really gonna be played at a party. As purveyers of certain styles of music, we have to learn to not take the names of parties too personnally...or too seriously...Anyway, as I mentioned before, party names generally tend to be weak/lame.

Records vs CDs: I prefer rec.s, but I also love using both, 'cause there's nothing better than mixing with 4 mediums (2 TTs, 2 CDJs), and, as mentioned, there's stuff you can't get on record.
Fuel for the fire (aka. more things to criticize): Laptop DJs? iPod Djs?

True, Ufot, that violence is not related directly to style or dress (unless you so happen to be in the army wearing camo uniforms, then there's a good chance you'll cross some violence)...Anyway, I've never seen punks and ravers not getting along at a party.

Speaking of violence, Screwhead, I know you'd want a mosh pit during you'r own set, but did you catch the mosh pit during Venetian Snares last year? It was special ;)

Sorry, but I have to make some corrections, to save further embarassment: "The Rave Scene Is Surviving" ... that's better ;)

And: "people saying the rave since is dieing" doesn't really make any sense...anyway, it's spelled: Dying. And the phrase should be more akin to : "people say that the rave scene has since been dying", but without specifying "since" what, that phrase is incomplete.

Sorry again, but half the joke here is the way these statements have been made, so cheers to bubble bursting, and ruining everyone's fun...haha... :) ...And, no offense to those who wrote those phrases, I figure you're not english, and so you're forgiven.

BTW, personally i feel that saying "the scene surviving" isn't very positive, makes it sound like we're just barely getting by; maybe "the scene is strong" or "is alive", or "the scene has survived" ... or simply: "We Live" ...
