The city is inundated with great talent in the graphics industry, and this is the best MTL could do? I have friends that would have made a better logo for a couple of hundred bucks...anyway, you know they payed some people to do the manual graphics work, another guy in charge of the "committee" or whatever (bossman), market research, the software etc... either way: a giant waste of money. Damned bureaucrats...

i think deco becomes important these days if you're using a venue that's been used several times already, to make it different. Deco is great, if it's well done and thought out, and only if everything else is up to par (if you're sound sucks, don't bother putting in a lot of $$$ for the place to look good, trying to fool everyone). But, as mentioned, lights and VJs are usually good enough.

Any trippy looking visuals are a bonus in an event, though, in the past, it was a regular part of parties, but priorities were forcibly changed... .. .

The worst part is that, not only did they take my herb, they took my fuckin' rolling papers too. Who does that? Only good thing is that since no one likes hardcore, my records are still there. Only assholes steal from poor people...
