for the all-dj party, my vision is utopian like i said, i wasn't necessarily thinking of MTL djs, just in general...and in a party where we would all be there the whole time, day or night, to be fair and open to other djs (and i'd expect all those not mixing to be dancing). but you're right, realistically, with the attitude of many peops, it would be a fuckin' mess...

funny though, there was time in early 2000s that was true, and it's true again, but there was a dip for a few years in the mid '00s that was pretty dry...but in the past year or so, it's really started up again...

i guess when the scene is weak, no one wants to participate...some of us stuck through it all though, and here we are :P

it's weird though, i don't like the idea that everyone becomes a DJ (usually it creates problems with competition and drama and bullshit and no one gets booked often enough since there's too much choice), but at the same time, i think the perfect party would be one where everyone IS a dj, so there would be a total understanding and a sense of brotherhood/sisterhood - and everyone would get their turn on the decks. but that's just a dream :P

for sure! it was a great movie, but yeah, it worried me a bit too

what i loved was the split screen scene while he's mixing, one of the best ways i've seen that shows how DJing works...

that's not plurified, that's twisted. the original phrase on which all of this plur philosophy is based finished with: "or I'll break your fucking faces." You know this, don't pretend it ain't so.

the fact that plur (well, plu anyways) started 'cause of a fight, is a testament to non-violence in the scene...and that's fine. And it's a great standard to try to live up to...

However, after years and years of being on this site, i have found that, Bliss, you are one of the meanest people on this forum. I know that you claim mistaken identity for your horrible attitude toward me, but that does not excuse the words that were said, nor does it justify any of the terrible things that were said of other, mostly undeserving, people as well. The only thread that you are "plur" in is this one.
