besides, sometimes it's a good thing that people are aware of you, but mostly they just see as just another nondescript person in the room, just like you probably see them.

if small parties and cramped areas bother you, (i live in a 2.5 app. so i'm used to it) then check venues and attendance lists (the calendar page for each event has an attendance list of who's going to the party). if the party has upwards 0f 150 people on the list, chances are it's a big party in a big venue (unless it's in Verdun lol), so you can ghost your way through the night w/out worrying about who's around. and there are some outdoor parties too in the summer, which might suit your needs...

but i don't think you need a psychological guide to having fun. if just chillin' at a bar or rave doesn't amuse you, maybe it's just not your thing. if it's the lack of entourage or people to talk to that interrupts your fun, then yeah, get out there! Dance, converse, relax, have a drink, and enjoy the pure satisfaction of just being there at that moment in time & space, the fact that you're partaking in a unique situation, a social taboo (raves!), a special moment is history :)

Anyway, like vinny says, we've been actively venue hunting for the past 4+ months. We've called dozens and dozens of places, had a few good chances, but were denied.

So, we're just going to make sure that everyone gets there, and make very sure that the set-up is different. it's a fuckin' decent venue, it just needs a few adjustments :)

anyway, i only care about: who comes to dance & who comes to play... ...and bass.
