Hmmmmmmm. * rubs chin *

HA!!

maybe he pulled off the hungerstrikes just 'cause there was no take-out available near his place

ghandi wasn't a pacifist, he was just lazy... "what? defend myself, physically? meh, maybe later"

fasting/hunger strike = too lazy to cook

that you know of...i'm sure that if you found out what happens sometimes 'behind the scenes' you'd be pretty disappointed in the rave scene in general, unfortunately. (it upsets me too sometimes, but thats life with humans)

and we're not saying the person doesn't have the right to do it, just that you have to have some mental issues if you think that you should be something that you are not. (i'm not a cat, so i'm not going to have a cat's tail & fur stuck on me 'cause i feel like a cat sometimes)

like chewing gum in class, if you reconstruct a person so they can 'look how they feel' then we should all get plastic surgery and make everyone 'beautiful'...'cause i'm sure not too many people think "i feel like an ugly person, so being ugly suits me fine"

anyway, i think the reason for going through with such a procedure is psychological, and the problem won't be solved through physical changes...IMO!

haha...

well, cutter has a god point, it being about aesthetics rather than improvements.

of course she/he can do whatever the fuck he/she wants, but it seems like a lot of trouble just to be on the outside what you feel on the inside. besides, and i'm going to get alot of flack for this, but it's 100% psychological, so it's like if someone has split personalities we should stick on another couple of heads onto his body, so he can look the way he feels 'inside' (ok, that may be an extreme comparison, but still...)

anyway, it's like boob jobs, it more freakish than beautiful. at the same time, the person is free to use whatever technology is available to them to make any personal changes. but, maybe those changes should be going on at a mental level, not a physical one.

imo.

yeah, i haven't even bothered watching Diary of the Dead yet...apparently i shouldn't ever :P
don't know about Land though...

i love ghost rider, as a comic, but the movie sucked, regardless of how cool ghosty himself looked. the worst thing about the movie was the supposed Satan guy (peter fonda?)...so not scary, and so very very lame:

nice! that's actually pretty well done :)

i'm sure if they were to make a feature length all hollywoodized, they'd throw in some love interest, and censor Lobo's dialogue like mad - and CG him all up...so, 'm glad there's at least a good short Lobo film around.

oh yeah Deliverance...i like the line Primus sampled: "where you goin' city boy?"

cutterhead: LOBO is great! i'd say they need to make it into a movie, but you know they're just going to fuck it up severe...and scanners lol, thought the first one was supposed to be a classic :P

there's always the ghost in the tv. in poltergeist, but the rest of it i always found a little overrated...

oh, another good one is the big blobby monster thing from Akira...couldn't find a pic, so you'll have to settle for the Cartman version :P

and cartoons + Strange Dahlia's 'sugar and spice' comment reminds me of one of my fav badguys:

haha! c'est correct d'abord :P

dr.giggles reminds of the villain in Darkman (same actor) though he wasn't that great, he gets a nod for the opening scene...as he cuts off a dude's fingers with a cigar cutter, he starts naming rules, (i forget the specifics) rule 1, then 2, then rule 3 is "i've got seven more rules!"
