moi aussi j'en joue du hardtechno, mais je n'ai presque pas de booking pour ca, c'est toujours juste pour du hardcore... ...i think that not enough people are aware of hardtech; like dave the drummer, ignition technition and all that jazz. it's great stuff! (i play a set of it in the morning once a month on my radio show)

there's also Indica, who plays all sorts of stuff, who would most definitely play some hardtechno if asked...heard him do it before, and it was great.

all in all i guess there's less than a dozen DJs in MTL that play & own the kind of hardtechno you seem to be looking for Techno_Skandal ... it's scandalous! :P ...at least everyone who plays this style seem to be really good at it :P

i love hardtech/hard techno, and agree that there should be more...MORE!

anyhow, there aren't really anymore trance parties, but there is a lot of psy-trance, and i'm sure if you contacted some of those promoters they'd be happy to have some just-trance at their events. like vinny said, we have some prog-trance & psy and rewire, but if you're looking for a gig, the bill is full... i remember Cham form "back in da' day" but you guys should have stuck around to keep the trance going!

my only complaint, and most of the 2nd DJs room will agree, no monitors! that sucks for us trying to play, which in turn sucks for the crowd...the sets were all great, now imagine how much better they would've been!!

Anyway, Sicatrix kicked ass, + Mutante and Sickness were as brilliant as usual...
