yeah i was arrested in 2001 for this same march...acquitted very recently.

then you get some asshole like Blis, who starts this thread with absolutely no info on the real cause, and says stupid things like: 'the cops & punks should kill eachother'. good job playing right into the hands of the media.

just what the city needs, more disinformation and hate toward people asking for nothing more than to be treated fairly and not be killed or beaten by those who are supposed to protect them.

And, when you get banned from a corrupter thread, it's funny, 'cause the threads themselves aren't as inflammatory or relevant, and everyone follows suit. With Blis, he only bans the people who disagree with him, then accuses them of shit AFTER banning them. He uses the banning option as a way of getting the last word, which is really abusive of the option, and counter-productive to the site's 'free speech' mentality.

this has all, very clearly, gotten way out of hand; but i have no problem dealing with corrupter's semi-innocent retardedness, compared to Blis' s frustrating "i win"s & and ultra arrogance and extremely self-righteous attitude.

on the other hand, you get the crappiness of having the 'puter crash & the shitiness of having the needle fuck up. also, you have to set up turntables, and a sound card and a laptop.

you end up with the best and worst of both worlds.

plus, it's getting pretty annoying to set shit up these days*, even if you don't have 'lives' to set; now we have to plug in the TTs, the CDs, and the PCs, not to mention leave pace for those laptops and wait until the DJ shows up before plugging them in. (and the TT needles have to be exaggeratedly 'pristine')

season 5 or the second half of 11 are your best bet, imo.

south park isn't as low brow as you think, well, some of it is :P but they mostly use that shit sarcastically in the later seasons, more cynical & spoofy than straight up pipi-caca. their strength is their ability to make fun of everyone equally, no exceptions, no one spared.
