Well obviously, you can't always trust people.

I mean, don't get me wrong. It's a damn shame that these things happen, but it does, so people may aswell becareful.

When I first went to a rave I thought people were crazy telling me to leave my school bag in the corner next to random people... or my friend asking a complete stranger to hold his sweater while he danced, and sure, nobody stole anything!

But there is -the say- 1/20 chance that someone may one day take your stuff, and I guess it was just that day.

VJ Mindlab -who does have expensive equipment- NEVER leaves his equipment unattended and he ALWAYS has someone keeping an eye on it.

Just at "Good Vibrations"... When he went and took a piss, there was some guy "looking around" at his projector that was placed in an obscure spot. If I wasn't there to let the guy know that "I had my on him", who knows... he just may have taken it.

if you are talking about the vj who was at noah's party, he left his gear unattended for hours. i know because i was in the room guarding my gear, and that guy doesn't know me from a hole in the ground.

The guy who had his shirt open all night? Tall skinny guy? I offered him 5 bucks if he did his shirt up, he told me he worked there and made "a thousand dollars a week" and that he didn't need my money. I then offered him another 5 if he took off his ridiculous sunglasses.

then again, i went in and out like 15 times and was never checked once. (suckers)

dude, with the amount of activity that is sanctioned in that venue, i don't think the concern of illegal alcohol is a very big one. police officers are NEVER there, and they NEVER will be.

but i agree that there is no reason to call someone a nazi if you are caught doing something that is against the rules.

Thanks a lot for treating the people bringing the party with all that respect. That fucking whore deserves a kick to the fucking head for being EXTREMELY rude and telling me to "Just open your fucking bag and shut up"

if you get there early, there is no issue. i brought in 2 bags, full, a guitar case and a steel briefcase, no search.

court fees are usually under 30 dollars. if he thinks he can win then go for it, but if it's a waste of time, then that time is better spent earning cash to pay the fine for sure.

we received a letter from an organisation that assists the city of montreal in keeping flyers off the streets and streets clean, informing us that we were warned for flyering for one of our events. We replied that we weren't responsible and that they were free to ticket anyone they saw flyering the streets with our flyers as we only flyered events and stores. that was the end of that.

my body didn't really reject the piercing. i was actually pleased by the experience considering I used safety pins and not any kind of piercing-grade metal. I assume results would be even better with that type of nickel or steel.
