It's IRC, mirc being the chat client. And most people still use a client, such as mirc, xchat, etc.

My advice tho: don't click any link you're not sure of, because there's some good hackers on irc. I was lucky enough to be warned about that by a white hat =). But still, when the guy show up in your pm with your unguessable password... You might freak out =P

for myself, security is issue #1, having great add-ons is #2. addons

My average tab count over time is about 20 ; sometimes little sometimes a lot but mostly around my average.

Anyway, flash and java is the devil in a browser lol. I'll try srware iron and give somme feedbacks ;)

same tabs openned, FF is taking 240 MB RAM, Iron 180. Lightning fast page rendering. Think i found my new browser, thanks DYNV =)

Also, Iron's processes are separated in the task manager, instead of being regrouped in one (like firefox, opera, etc). Don't really know why it shows 6 process, while i have 4 tabs opened tho, maybe someone could tell me why. But it's still faster and uses less ressources =)

this. Exactly. I change my MAC. you change random caracters, it seems to always work anyway (but i guess the total amount of caracters need to remain the same).

I wanted to do that one day, when a guy on irc said he was going to pass my firewall, and i got 20 000 intrusion attempts in a couple of hours, btw.
