Now Host, I've never used VSO myself (I'm lazy so I burn .isos), but I know that converting .avis to VOB files (or whatever VSO ends up giving you) is pretty harsh on a system. This may sound pretty basic, but regardless of your computer specs, are you making sure to NOT run any other apps while it's converting?

Heh, my DVD writer's a 3-4 yo HP dvd630, and I've never had any problems burning VOB files. I'm guessing the problem lies during conversion.

And yeah, you're just gonna mess up your PS2 lens faster if you listen to DVDs on it :)

Went by Berri yesterday, didn't actually notice any sound, but then again I'm probably too old. I've tested myself, and I know some of these mosquito sounds I can't hear anymore.
