Scotty P made a good point. People who really care about clothing are usually younger people who still need to define themselves in one way or another. Not to say they're definitely stupid, but they're still teenagers in a way.

and Lone Star pretty much summed up the whole "raves are gonna die, oh noes!" thing.

The scene is far from dead. Time Machine wouldn't have worked if no one wanted to rave anymore. They're a lot of promoters in Montreal doing a great job at keeping it alive and kicking. Sure, it's not as popular as it used to be, but we still have new ravers coming in from time to time.

Anyways, I invite anyone who wants to read my thoughts on the subject to read my blog, in my profile. :)

I did feel that we had a special vibe at Time Machine, but I can't really be objective on this matter, hehehe.

Ouais, la police sont juste venu checker ben vite. Ils sont même pas rentrés. Comme Stef a dis, il y a eu une plainte pour une bagarre dans le cartier, on peut pas les blamer de commencer par regarder là où il y a un gros rassemblement.

Don't worry about this, I'll never throw more than two raves per year. Anyways, I'm so tired right now I don't think I want to go to any party for at least a month, hehe.

Hahaha, I remember watching House of the Dead with a friend. We used to get drunk and rent the worse movies so we could laugh our ass off. Good times.

Yes, about the tv reporters. They said that they loved the party, and they couldn't help but smile when they were leaving. I think they'll have some good things to say about the scene.

A part sa, review musical

Psonyk: excellente track selection pour commencer la nuit. Sa a mit le monde dedans tout de suite en rentrant.
Matduke: Un set solide, qui a fait tripper gros du monde! Sa a très bien suivi le acid trance de Psonyk
Matricks: Que de classiques! Comme toujours, un set a la hauteur qui a fait danser gros du monde.
Tipsy: Meilleur set que j'ai entendu de toi depuis un bon bout. Tu a très bien suivi la crowd
Pat Davis & Crizok: Les gars, je savais que vous aviez ce qu'il faut pour jouer peak time comme sa. Le monde en redemendaient! Un set qui buchait a fond.
Mad: Excellent set qui a rappelé des souvenirs a plusieurs! Très intense!
Mana-7: Probablement le set le plus oldschool du party. On sentait que sa rappelait de bons souvenirs a beaucoup de oldschoolers. Très plannant.
Metzen: Un set très intense, sur lequel j'ai pu danser un peu pour décompresser. (première fois ou j'ai eu le temps de danser du party, hehe). Beaucoup de tracks que je n'avais pas entendu depuis longtemps.
Omni: finalement, énormément de classiques trance pour finir le party en beauté. On ne pouvait pas trouver mieux pour conclure la nuit!

After 6 months of hard work, it's always great to finally see the results. I'm more than satisfied with the outcome of Time Machine. I haven't seen people have that much fun in a long time. All the djs played awesome sets, and the music was totally amazing the whole night!

I'd first like to thank all the djs who played at the party.
I also want to thank everyone from fractal who have been great to work with, and have accepted to work with all the changes we made to the venue.
Also, thanks to Jean-Charles, who made those projections. He was experimenting with a new technique, and it turned out absolutely amazing!
A special thanks to Trey, Tipsy and Psonyk for their oldschool flyers, it made the timeline possible!
Thanks to everyone who helped us with the setup at the beginning, and those who helped cleaning up at the end.
I couldn't have done it without my two partners, Ben and Jac (aerial raver). We made a great team all the way!
Finally, a million thanks to the 230 ravers who came to the party and contributed to the awesome oldschool vibe we had going on!

Don't know yet when my next party's gonna be, but I can promise you guys Time Machine will not be my last one!

Woah, I still can't believe how big a success this was! I'll have to take some time to rest, then I'll post a more complete review. For now, I'd like to thank a million time all the ravers who came to support. We truly had an oldschool vibe, and I couldn't hope for better results!

Once, I was supposed to work but decided to go rave in Toronto instead. I called my boss from Toronto, creating a story that I've been on a roadtrip with a friend, and that he left me there with no money. My boss believed it. That was probably the funniest way of skipping work I tried so far.

Neverending story was my favorite movie when I was a kid. I still have it, I think.

Ils ne resteront pas trop tard, et c'est pas un reportage sur la drogue, mais bien sur les raves. J'ai parlé longuement au gars, et il trippe sur le concept. Une partie du oldschool qui est disparue pour le bien, c'est les préjugés contre les raves; y'en a beaucoup moins qu'avant.
