I always saw people who diss others for the way they dress as a lame attempt at trying to be cool. A lot of people seem to think that being mature is about disrespecting less mature styles, while this kind of attitude is actually a hundred times more immature than dressing candy (or goth, or whatever).

Apart from Time Machine, I think the last thing that made me go "fuck yeah" was E.N.D.'s set at HAF666. This is the last time I really had fun at a rave without feeling jaded. Good music and a good vibe (in that order) is what it's all about.

I agree with Ryan. It's a costume, not an actual everyday style. The only people who assosiate to a particular style in their everyday lives are teenagers in an identity crisis. :p

I do love it when people dress up for parties. Somehow, it gives the event a special feel.

There is that, but we could have more than 300 ravers at parties easily with our current population. Not enough people know the music.

Candy's far from dead! A lof of people just want to dress this way again, but just don't see the good events to do so.

The truth is that, in North America, music with high bpm doesn't seem to be accepted by the masses. In the UK, a 180 bpm track can easily be heard on the radio. Here, harder music just doesn't seem to be accepted by the mainstream.

Great party. As always, Saphir prooves to be one of the best places to get drunk in Montreal. :p I enjoyed the music a lot, in the beginning, though the djs seemed to have a hard time with the set up. After Metzen's set, I ended up talking to people outside, and didn't really hear the rest. Overall, the turnout was better than what I first expected for a party on a wednesday.

Props Louis and Julien, you guys did great :)
