Justement, non. On rave pas pour réfléchir, on rave pour avoir du fun. Une chose qui m'a toujours fait tripper dans les raves, c'est qu'il n'y a pas de message social en arrière. On rave pour avoir du fun, pis sa finit là. Si "plur" peut servir de cri de ralliement, c'est parfait. Si il faut commencer a en faire une philosophie de vie et il faut en débattre, alors fuck le plur. :p

Comme j'ai dit tantot, si on gardait sa simple et on essayais pas de mettre des mots la dessus, on pourrait se contenter d'avoir du fun, pis sa finit là. ;)

Pour répondre a la question originale, c'est normal que les raves s'institutionalisent avec le temps. Prenont les hippies comme example. C'était trash et underground dans les années 60, asteure y'a des mononcles qui se déguisent en hippies avec un gros signe de peace pour leur party d'halloween de bureau. Quand une nouvelle mode arrive, sa choque au debut, puis la société l'assimile. C'est tout a fait normal que des gens veulent ensuite s'en servir pour faire de l'argent, on vit dans une société capitaliste après tout. Évidemment, il reste toujours quelques irréductibles qui vondront garder une scène dans l'underground. Je continue de croire que la scène commerciale peut etre une excellente porte d'entrée pour des gens plus trippeux qui aurait envie de tripper plus intense sur la scène underground, qui a plus tendance a "en laisser passer".

This thread made me laugh. It's so funny how people can debate for hours about something as insignificant. People don't need to worry when it's just about having fun. They do worry when you throw them words like "plur". Raves are fun, period. Let's not try to define it.

C'est de la drogue. La grosse différence, c'est qu'on sais exactement ce qu'il y a dans une funkpill. La liste des ingrédients et les mises en garde viennent avec. Comme plusieurs le savent déjà, le principal danger des drogues du marché noir sont liés aux ingrédients inconnus. On ne sais pas quelle cochonerie a été mise la dedans. La mdma elle même n'est pas si nocive que sa.

Bref, si tu ne fais pas de drogue, ce n'est pas une excuse pour commencer. Si tu en fais, alors t'es mieux de prendre la pillule légale. ;)

We don't have anymore issues to talk about right now, but it's always good to have a place to discuss dates and such. When there is a bigger issue, it's better to be able to contact everyone at once and have everyone give their opinion. Also, it's a chance to learn from each others, share contacts, etc.

It's impossible to make something like that 100% leakage free. Loudmouths are usually heard pretty quickly though, and can be dealt with. Still, such a section exist on ravezone, and I haven't heard of major leakage problems on their part. I think we can expect the more experienced promoters to put some order in the whole thing.

an invite only system would probably end up in crazy drama. I'd say every active promoter should be invited, but people who can't use this in a mature way should get banned from this particular board. Still, people deserve a chance.

I just had this idea, and I talked about it to a few promoters who seem to be interested.

We should have a promoter message board on ravewave. This would be a board that only people with a promoter profile could access. This way, we could discuss issues such as venues and party dates without having the whole scene know about it. I think something like that would really help promoters to work together, and not against each others.

It's kinda sad how some people see every event as an excuse to get high.

Honnêtement, ceux qui veulent de nouvelles salles, je vous suggère de faire vos propres recherches. Trouver des salles, c'est difficile. Je viens justement de passer la journée la dessus, et je suis pas sur si un des endroits que j'ai spotté sera utilisable. Plusieurs promoteurs font la même chose, un effort que je trouves parfoit supperflu, puisque mon opinion personnelle est que des endroits comme le centre fractal on le théàtre sans fil sont des endroits vraiment nice. Aussi, revenir dans la même salle souvent crée un attachement envers cet endroit.

En tout cas, je sais que je suis un des seuls a penser comme sa, alors je met quand même des efforts pour trouver des endroits. Si sa vous tente de chercher, y'a des tonnes de promoteurs qui cherchent de nouveaux endroits. C'est un bon effort a faire pour supporter la scène.

It's a net radio rip. One thing about Luna-C is that he's more of a producer than a dj. The fun part about his sets are those mashups he makes up on soundforge, wich he basically just burns on a cd. I don't really consider it cheating, since everyone knows about it.

I may know someone. I'll ask him if he's available this weekend.
