So lately here on Vancouver Island, it has been an issue for kids getting in car accidents on their way home from raves. We have been brainstorming/debating on who is responsible and how to prevent drinking and driving - or doing drugs and driving.

I found this little gnome on a beach, it was a little stone figure, and at first i thought it was just a kid's toy.. well, i put him in my purse. that night, i forgot to take him out and i went to the Press Room (used to be a club in Nanaimo, BC but it doesnt exist any more). At the end of the night, i noticed that some girl had bought a drink with a $20 bill and had put her change in my purse. (back then i didnt drink - i just did drugs) I thought it was just a coincidence.

So a couple weeks later, after the stone gnome thing sat on my dresser, i noticed that change started to collect around him. not sure where it came from, but i know it wasnt mine. (i was super broke at the time).

my ex took the gnome when we broke up... and 3 years later, i ended up living with my ex for a couple of months, and i came home from work one day, walked into my room and the gnome was sitting ontop of my TV. I asked my ex when he put it there? he had completely forgotten that he even had it.

so i have it back, he's chillin in my underwear right now, and i have so much freakin change accumalating!

im not sure about fairies. they're pretty. but are they as cool as a change collecting gnome?
