The Maple Leafs symbolize the amount of times they've lost to the Habs, and the sheer pile sort of hints at the fact that they have hit the shield many a time and relentlessly returned to continue to suck.

The beaver symbolism has a lot more to do with the amount of fur south of the border on the fairer sex up here. And it's at the top to indicate there's usually an ok trim.

Form of shield which I don't see anywhere. Well apparently this has to do with fending off unwanted fecundity of the above. Fat chance a lot of the time.

The silver was all they could afford, gold wasn't being created so well at the time because they didn't have the Pantone codes yet.

The cross has to do with the healthcare over here. It's sort of not so great, makes the whole crest look sort of bad, and ultimately was installed at great expense which was mostly spent on the expensive tone of red that didn't turn out so well in the gif image we see today (which is all that exists of the crest as well). Also symbolizes the need for abortions, that's why it's red and covers the cross. Also, see rose.

The fleur de lys - represents royalty, although there was never a Quebecois king. However France wanted to make Quebec think there was some kind of thing going on over here and slipped the ideas in the settlers' heads that they were the New Kings On The Block. Years later, still no King of Quebec, and the existing separatist parties are going for a democratic approach over monarchy, which I think is folly.

The rose actually has nothing to do with Lancaster, it has to do with the fact that there's a big Rosicrucian population here. Christian Rosenkreuz's tomb is under the Masonic temple on Sherbrooke and is guarded by Reptile men from the fourth density. Conspiracy! Dun dun dun!

The thistle. Scottish people are really bristly and tend to sting when they headbutt or glass you so they gave them this weed as a symbol. Also there aren't a lot of them here anymore so we can laugh at their stupid flower and they won't headbutt or glass us. Because they cannae fukken read French, ya doss cunts!

The shamrock. There are leprechauns hiding under Mount Royal and they don't want us to know, and this is one of the only hints.

The motto: "Concordia Salus" is actually a misprint of "Concordia Secus" or "So-so Harmony", a premonition of how bad the education would be at Concordia University years later.

Yeah Mikael, I ended up smoking that whole cigar instead of putting it out and hiding it, but it was a bit tough to do so considering the beer thief's itinerary of the evening. She took the management's supply all while trying to innocently sell our beers (and guess where a bunch of them went). I think Dee might need to supply us with a twelve-pack, a w-w-white sac, a bottle of vodka, and maybe a small box of Cohibas, but you can't make her go to Cuba for a R&J, besides I think they import them here.

There are consequences for insubordination. We will call your current boss and warn them if we have to. Beer thief. The worst type.

PM me, Dee, I'd love to do this and I have relevant experience and education. I had stuff in mind too... depends what the general focus is but I'd consider myself a rather good study if not perfectly informed on things and I have radio show experience, although minimal.

I look like crap though so if they can provide plastic surgery for all my minor physical flaws (ie neck too chunky, droopy eyes with burst blood vessels beneath, bags, and lousy pectoral muscles), then I think I'll make the cut.

The problem with the last save point is usually you did a lot more of the driving around and collecting hidden items, you have the Banshee now but you only had a Landstalker then, and you didn't manage to survive a 6-star rating and work it back down to nothing, then kill Officer Tenpenny.

This being well, everything.

I was sort of wondering the other day why there is no section (besides Music Production & Technology, which sounds really boring, or like a big "I have more gear" forum and always scares me off) devoted entirely to reviews of new records. After all most people on here buy them and play them, but nobody seems to do any reviews or talk much about their latest purchases. It would make a far better section than Silly Games or the accursed Let's Get Together forum which really goes nowhere except into the den of a desperate lonely person with two pills of questionable quality.

Plus for once we would write about something that shows what's actually going on in our minds. Plus think about the kind of war and drama we could create if someone reviews the new Alec Empire disc, and say, someone like me says IT'S TOTAL FUCKING UTTER CRAP, I'VE NEVER HEARD ANYTHING THIS BAD FROM MR. DIGITAL HARDCORE.

Anyways, if we had been wiser people we could have stopped him from dropping such a pile of shit on the world and I wouldn't have had to wait two weeks for a shitty CD that was supposed to be his first release on vinyl of some sort of proto-breakcore project... can I send this thing back? I sort of doubt it.

Ebony and Ivory... that's what I'd name those kids. Or "Daddy #1 Jr" and "Daddy #2 Jr". Or "Boudin Noir" and "Boudin Blanc", or "Yin" and "Yang", or "Black baby" and "White baby".

It's a motherfucking genetic miracle. One kid got all the melanin. Now if the two kids get into their sibling rivalry phase, which one's being racist, Bliss?

There's nothing I find more racist than a person who's scared shitless of making fun of racist humour in interracial threads, and who can't realize that the only way to disarm the power of racism to traumatize is reductio ad absurdum.

We should change the domain name (or add the domain name) [ www.racistass.ca ] to the list of those redirecting to [ rave.ca ]

Everyone gives Dee a hard time about that because we want her to get her own kickass place. That's all.

I'm wondering where to find Seb and Audrey too because I didn't really want them to just drop in at my party to give me back my jacket. I think maybe they thought I was being an asshole about that one. Hell, I even have a new jacket. I saw them for maybe an hour or so and they got bored (rightfully so) because everyone else showed up around 3am. But I really wish they'd stayed... let's be friends! I thought you guys thought I was cool! Now I'm not so sure, I think maybe I have to start using this collection of dice to pretend I have friends with helmets and plate mail.

That's wrong. Methamphetamine is a methampetamine. MDMA is a phenethylamine. Look it up in PiHKaL... you can find that on [ Erowid.org ] This was the primary source of information for TRIP when I worked with them, and we had a very well-informed pamphlet on Ecstasy which I've been trying to get copies of for a while, so I can hand them out to the less-informed, in the hopes of filling the gaps that GRIP has left open everywhere with their half-assed harm-reduction efforts. GRIP blows, IMHO.

Aside from every criticism I have of you picking apart an intelligent and experienced person's arguments, you may very well be right about the testing kit, yet I have yet to see this one. I seem to remember however that the colour grade on the test I used last was a little too close, the difference between blue and indigo or something.

If you have access to this superior kit, why not tell the rest of us what the kit is called, where we can get it, and leave all your bitching à la énculé for when it's important? Your nitpicking is useless. You just make yourself look like an asshole. Maybe that's what you want, but it's always yucky when people start to look like they're severely distended and hemorrhoid-ridden in the midst of all their other faults. Cut it out, as Uncle Jesse would say.

You can use the strip test as well, with the litmus paper, but it's not very accurate. Ultimately you're going to need a gas chromatograph to discern what exactly is in your pill or powder.

Another test is, considering we've all been doing drugs for years, to maybe kind of suss out what it is you're on based on the effects it has on you. If you do k and it doesn't sedate or anesthetize then chances are it's something else, and well, last time I did k, I had a mighty hard time sleeping... so it was pretty easy to figure out the cut was a type of speed. I've done enough speed to know that it doesn't make me feel quite that wired off of tiny doses so I did a bit of amateur deduction and settled that the k these days is cut with meth. Hence, I no longer do it. Because I don't want to do meth.

The llelo is not doing as badly and it might have to do with the connoisseur population that tends to be into it. It's a more expensive drug, so I think quality control is stricter. However the drip is pretty tell-tale and gives away cuts, which are often creatine (not so bad), MSM (sort of bad for your circadian rhythm), amphetamine (predictable), etc. I don't know about baby laxative. I haven't made up my mind if that's an urban legend because coke is already diuretic.

Excstamacsy (short for Excstamacsydiplyendrendahistogynorgakenaphlyamine) is usually just a big fat mix of crappy drugs to create a crappier drug. Plus it makes you into a twinkie. Stay away even without the meth, you have no idea what it is.

But a good old-school MDMA test was to burn a bit on foil and see what it smells like. Meth smells horrible when you burn it and MDMA smells like safrole unless it is super pure, which I've rarely encountered. Also, dissolving stuff in a spoon tends to tell you if there's cut, but you're not shooting it yet, give that a few years, when they start giving us all syringes with every purchase so we can shoot it in between our toes, oblivious to what the hell the drug is in the first place! But who cares? Shout anarchy and take drugs! It makes no sense! But it doesn't have to!

Hey people, sorry to post this in general discussions but there's no section devoted to rideshares (there should be!) for festivals, and I don't want to post a new thing in events.

I am either renting a Jeep for this festival, leaving tonight, which will have two spaces available, or looking for a ride for two to Northtek up near Maniwaki. Anybody who's looking for a ride or who has space can contact me at no.os.23@gmail.com. This offer is open until around 8 or 9 pm, when we will surely be hitting the road, one way or another.

Any takers? Email me at no.os.23@gmail.com if you have space in a ride or if you need a ride, that'll ultimately decide what we do in the end.
