I have the Alien Blaster. The molerat mission was easy as hell, you find a few anywhere and kill them, but the mutants, well, when they have a minigun all you have to do is shoot them once with the blaster. Then switch weapons because that's total overkill. But at least you won't end up as swiss cheese when you pull in to get Mr. Hunting Rifle Mutant or whoever.
