Yeah but on a slow connection I find everything glitches out. Add to that a slow and virus-encrusted computer and anything java kind of screws up.

Quicktime is still the best for audio, and generally I like the new updates on the program, but VLC is what you want if you need full control and flexibility. The audio codecs for Quicktime are unparalleled, though. I know, sounds like a mac ad. It's not, a friend tested it out not too long ago and found the quality to be amazing.

The moment someone points out that the troll in question was just gunning for a reaction usually results in a fire drill.

A person that throws around the troll insult to: anyone who defeats them in an argument, anyone who points out facts the real troll doesn't want people to know, or someone the real troll picks at random to stick falsely with a troll label for sheer lulz. This second type of troll is 98.9999999% of all trolls now and is often called an Anti-troll.

Also:

PLUR

P.L.U.R. is an acronym popular with ravers. The letter stand for: Peace, Love, Unity and Rape or "'P'"edophiles "'Love, "'U'"nderaged, "'R'"avers

Some ravers contend that the R is for respect, but this is likely cover for POS moments.

Ravers believe that rape brings them together as a community. Furries, who dress in six-thousand-dollar wolf costumes made of carpet and compare their detractors to Hitler also believe they are a community.

The only place on the radio you'll occasionally hear something that doesn't get played every day is CHOM. Most of their lineup is repeat, somehow they always play Chilliwack, Boston, and Foreigner, but all in all, more songs to sing along to mean better vibes at work. But goddamn it, enough Kim Mitchell, Eagles, and BTO already... christ...

P.S.: Yogourt.

Weekend at Bernie's is great, the first one at least. The second one, umm... yeah I remember being rather enraged, but you don't have to rent or watch it, plus there are tons of shitty pieces of dialogue that are sample friendly. Nobody will be able to place them, and when they ask you where it came from they'll crack up.

The whole movie (first one) is on Youtube:

I love the scene where he chases the guy while kicking his ass, literally.

Man, this is what I was waiting for as an interface for Live. You can do this with the overpriced Lemur system for Max/MSP but it seems only IMCA geeks buy those and write utter shitno music.

On that note, ECC is kinda cheesy. And the guy is way too smug considering that most of their music sounds kind of like the mashup work of Coldcut or other pretentious innovators. Great ideas and lousy music... meh. I'd like to see how fast they do the mixing, because these guys are usually in the 100-160 bpm range and no faster. This needs to be used by someone decidedly more hardcore.

but if you ask any kids from that time they will say you its songs screaming and singing about bitch stuff hehe !

anyways hipsters are the new SKApunk and the new emo in my opinion! actually it should be called NU RAVE since its pretty much stole the whole FLUO and have fun mentality ! hipsters will follow whatever is the next thing so they can tell their friends : SEE I did it F1RST!

Anachronism... Weezer was in the 90s, and the Get Up Kids were 99 or 2000 or something.

You should be referring to Emo as it related to the hardcore sXe scene. Quicksand, Snapcase, and the fashion was really based off of the look of Ian McKaye of Minor Threat. You know, the guys who whined about "STRAIGHTEDGE, I AM FOREVER PURE" and led to legions of people smashing other people's beers at parties then getting into big fights.

These days I have no idea where the kids get their ideas other than to suppose that their older brothers were already posers so they were aping posing. Meta.

On the Fallout tip: Go find the Alien Blaster, north of Minefield in a high-rad zone.

Re X Box 360... they stole the name from the playstation controller... there's an X button, a box (or square), plus a circle (360). Only thing missing is the triangle... which kind of fails the joke.
