So I guess that the Discordian party has won, given that we follow strange rules. That being, if this gets to page 145, we got the vote by default. You can check our rules, posted in our archive department at 666 Sussex Drive in Nairobi, Kenya, in a padded electronic safe guarded by lazers and a tiger. Pew pew pew!

Ah hell no, what's going on with the cupcakes... girls love these things. My girl wants me to go to that place on St. Denis and get her a cupcake gift pack... they are taking over. Doughnuts never stood a chance.

LOL Tribal house DJ from Toronto. Bad news other Bliss, he's doing a lot better than you are and name battles are inevitable one day. Name ideas: Mirth, Joy, Glee, Gayness... etc.

I was also going to talk to this guy, Schizoid:

Pricey you say... you're comparing to powdered coffee with added caramel flavouring (tim's), and you say pricey? Coffee should be real coffee, even on a budget it's affordable... given you have a machine of some sort I guess.

Next question, French press or Bialetti style espresso maker?

It happened during Grand Prix once, I was in the kitchen and the rush hit, and I swear, I had drank about 40 cups by then. The executive chef was blown away, I supervised three commis de cuisine while expediting to them and plating all the salads, and we had a volume that would have caused most people to bail.

Wow, it would be cool if I could just stand on the coffee pot and do that thing like Samus Aran where I glow a second and then it goes to the save screen.

Actually those energy cells in Metroid look a lot like espresso machines, ever noticed that?

It sucks hard with acid though, definitely does not mix.

You start to become so aware of your gutrot and your general high levels of coffee-scented urine and the jitters get magnified times 1000.

Not that I did acid, but I have, and WOW THAT UNICORN'S HORN IS SO SHINY!

Well you can say I'm complicating for nothing, but when you get used to using studio gear or decent monitors you start to get nitpicky and want to do all the work you can. Why just toss off a track without doing a final mixdown?

Best coffee IMO is Ideal Coffee in Toronto, Café Rico over here is also fucking amazing, but I haven't determined which of their many varieties is my top.

Currently drinking Coffee Tree Roastery's Organic Fair Trade Espresso, courtesy of a shop in Toronto... mmmmm....

Ah Neko... just for you I will try to run IT on DosBox and churn out some magic. You are very correct. You master your samples first and you get better tracker results... BUT! That doesn't mean that the final mix will work.

If you have a bunch of normalized samples and they all contain a more or less full spectrum of frequency and are at top volume, the end will sound like mud unless you filter or eq those individual tracks in one way or another. Either way, you always have to master the end result of the track as well as your samples, or the quality suffers. Bandwidth, as usual, creates the problem, not so much original quality.

I realize almost every morning just how much coffee I drink in the average morning, and I'm wondering if other people have similar habits.

I make roughly 2-3 cups of espresso with a stovetop machine and drink half of it before I head out or do whatever the day's tasks consist of. If none, I open up about thirty tabs and go apeshit on internets, looking for whatever inspires me...

It's really a great drug, to tell you the truth, until it wears off and you feel jittery I guess...

What are your favourite beans, people? What's the best coffee in town?

Say Tim Hortons and perish.
