as for general pointers... there are so many things on the web! You can look for courses (mostly in PDF or PPT / PPS or plain HTML) in Google or directly on some teachers' web pages (that you can find via the University/Faculty/Research Lab/Research Team webpages).

Wikipedia is often well-documented for topics up to B.Sc or M.Sc level, for example: [ en.wikipedia.org ] gives you a good overview and list of pointers to more detailed topics, such as [ en.wikipedia.org ]

For clean or alternative definitions: [ mathworld.wolfram.com ]

If you're looking for books, you can search in Google Scholar or directly on the publishers' websites (Springer Verlag, Elsevier Science Direct, North Holland / Amsterdam Publishers, etc).

There's a 10^x button, so maybe they've switched it with the Exp button... if not, then it's a bug in the design of the Exp button (which should compute x^y)

it's mainly because of the insane pressure coming from the headquarters and passing on down the hierarchy... former businessmen/specialized seniors got a "reset", meaning that they went down the whole social ladder, being telemarketers whose salary depended on the profit they generated... self-esteem, salary, and family+work pressure just got too much to handle for them.

If you read the article, though, you notice that the suicide rate in this company is below the national average!...
