1) religion is a man-made phenomena that dates back to paleolithic hunter/gatherers and fertility cults. 2) faith is a product of fear, a crutch for man and womankind to lean on in times of doubt, superstition and need. maleus malefcarum? hello. 3) 'god' or 'goddess' or any pantheon you can ascribe to, to give these things names and faces and personifications are to revere archetypes and archetypes alone. archetypes for what, well thats up to you to decide. how is that your own choice, refer to item 1. know what you believe and why you believe it. this is discordia at work. |

youve pissed someone off and you know you should feel guilty, but theres no lump at the pit of your stomach, youre not choking on your words, and the best thing you can possibly do at that particular moment is keep your giggles in check. life is fucking good when you realize... you are alive. and this isnt a dream. and all i can do is laugh and laugh because everything else is so insignificant. i love this feeling. and i wish all of you who are down in the dumps just a fraction of it so you can bring yourselves up again. |

- busts his ass for a company that doesnt give him due credit - was a dweeeb when he was younger - never did drugs - likes history & war stories - has a restored weapons collection - uses the fact that he has several antique guns to periodically threaten my boyfriend (moreso past boyfriends) - in good humor - makes the best apple pie ever - makes me milkshakes when ive locked myslef in my room for too long - will drink port and smoke cigars with me when we go on vacation - then when were both drunk he swears not to tell me mum - doesnt speak to his sister cuz shes a floozy - was in the navy - smokes a pipe |

on a semi-philosophical level i actually agree with spooky on this. everything living does have a vibrational quality to it, for the dumbasses: everything has energy. when you eat something you aborb its vibrational quality, be it plant or animal. they managed to prove it with some mollecular theory or another. and the hippies proved it by detecting and sensing auric fields around living bodies. and you know, the hippies cant be wrong. |

WARNING: post has potential spoilers. im trying to not say anything too directly for those of you who are really into the *cough* "plot" of the matrix revolutions, but even so... visually, the 3d and special effects were not to be believed. in short, some of my favorite parts; the human fields, the city of the machines, the apu mech gundams, the war with zion, the swarm of sentinels as they break through the docks, the machine tunnels, and this one scene where they soar above the sky for a few brief instants - phenomenol. aesthetically, a fucking brilliant movie. underline: FUCKING BRILLIANT AESTHETICALLY. im still trying to burn some of the images into my skull so i dont forget them. but ONLY aesthetically. the character development and weak plot were laughable. id like to throw rotten food at the screen writers for these lengthy spurts of ridiculous cheesy dialogue. the action sequences, i do give props to, they were shorter than reloaded. in short, bringing back the ideal of the original somewhat which is fine by me. and whats this love bullshit? please. theyve left just enough room for a sequel without bringing back our star of bill & ted's bogus journey. ... comments folks, id like to hear the fanatics try and reconcile those scenes where you cover your mouth as hard as you can to keep from laughing hysterically while every other nincompoop is rapt watching some main character die spurting out lines of verbose poetry. this was not drama, this was the titanic, but a lot darker, with a bunch of machines. |

you dont get a service warranty for parts and labor on the system if you buy it piece by piece. only a warranty on the parts themselves. which, if you cant troubleshoot, is useless. and a big pain. try la centrale informatique, or future shop. small comp shops take a few days for assembly btw. |
» elixireleven replied on Wed Nov 5, 2003 @ 8:19pm. Posted in Geek Help. |
pretty good until you have to take it back and have them service it because they didnt do quality control the first time around. |
» elixireleven replied on Wed Nov 5, 2003 @ 8:17pm. Posted in Geek Help. |
not microbytes. for the love of god. anywhere but there. worst - service - ever. get your parts there just dont let them assemble the thing. |
