but less than 5 booking, you dont nececarely want to get paid, just to get your name out
5 to 15 = 50 $ or under
15 to 30 = around 70$
more than 30 around 100.

+ out of town fees(gas and everything)
+ more if you do live act, or something special
+ ALLWAYS 1 guest, no matter what
+ possibility to bring your own alcool, if not partly or completely paied by the promoter
+ depend on your name, if your a known producer, or artist, you can get an extra cut since you will be playing you own stuff, or original stuff, never heard before.

and when the promoter is asking you to play at his party, just say your price, there is nothing wrong with being paid for a service that you give, if hes not happy, then he can book free dj's that will bring nobody at his party.

of course exception applies, example when its your friend the promoter, then charge what you want/what he has to offer, but just dont accept un-paied bookings all the time, you will never be able to have a pay.

its not about being greedy, buisness is buisness, its showbizz.
i know some promoters that will agree with me, and maybe others will not.

but its my opignon, and i work that way, and everything is fine.
