I'm a bit at a loss here and perhaps one of you have experience with such VoIP devices. So I'm using a software and it's great because if my (VoIP) provider move on (to an updated version of the protocol or some other important reason), all I need to do is install a new software and voilà!

The thing is that even if I spend little time far enough from my computer ; now I ALWAYS have to keep an ear out for it and be ready to run back to it & plug my headset. So a device is in order. But which: ATA or VoIP ph? ATA + a "regular" phone would cost a bit more but ATA has been around for a bit of time. VoIP look like it would be easier to update (firmware) but it's a matter of time before they completely drop support to it.

I think it all come down to which will likely withstand the test of time better (because they're not as flexible as software).

I'm looking for someone to play video or table games once in a while, like 1-2/month. I have a PlayStation (PS) 2, a Super nintendo (SNES), a Sega Genesis and an adapter for Sega System (with some games). Darn! I only have 1 controller for the Sega but we could play one after the other ; if someone have a dirt-cheap controller to spare, let me know . I have like 5-6 table games (although they're at an old place so can't list them ATM).

I'm not good at entertaining, including conversation.

Fedex charge 10$ for bordercrossing while UPS charge a whopping 25$. I sulk Fedex (c'est bien traduit?) but I boycott UPS ; I'll take an item from a different store if they only use UPS unless they give BIG savings!

I suppose you were referring to my comment, that was how I feel about it, not how I perceive it ; people do the same thing for different reasons.

About the topic, I'm glad that people took a journey on it but I see other ways to do so, I think just a change of values, methods, feelings or goals can accomplish that. I'm wondering about the specificities or drugs and the reason people yearn them. Although it's nice to see the reasons that I think aren't specific.

databoy that was a funny post! US could flatten a huge chunk of a city during a night over 50 years ago, what do you think they could do if the REALLY wanted to today? I wonder how much of a priority are Iraq/Afghanistan wars. I'm positive it's nowhere near what they keep in reserve for a serious affront.

I don't know the intricacies of the US-china relationship but the quote I made earlier about economic war leading to real war has a lot of weight and make me wonder how much of a push US need to become serious.

this sound like a great idea! why not sell bus tickets and if you can pack 1 bus full make it? you could also make a tag-along service, where people put how many places are free from a place to the other, [ rave.ca ] events already offer this but I don't think there's a way to remove the jokes that people add there ; I'd be glad to make the website for that service. there could also be another page for people that have extra places in their tent. make it not too far from a cheap motel so people could group together for a taxi-ride there then sleep together in a room for like 20-30$ altogether ; I could also make a page for that.

I could give a hand with the organization if you want ; I'm not used to it but I can do grunt work : data entry, phone calls, ...

I want to hear many genre in a somewhat ordained chaotic order in cycle so I can have fun and dance to some parts, enjoy other while sitting and the parts I can't wait to end won't last too long.

The genre I personally miss are Speedcore and Liquid Funk but I enjoy thoroughly a rave with a wide variety of genres.

I was hinting the invert, China better watch out if they play tough with US.
