It's been a busy year for a couple of old chaps like us - between touring the country in May and supporting our hero DJ Z-Trip on Labour Day, it seems like nearly every weekend was spent driving to some remote location to rock a show and party with some of the coolest peeps under the sun. Now, with the cold weather setting in and the festival season nothing more than a memory, we thought it was high time to drop another mixtape on y'awl. Following in the tradition of our previous cult-classics, 'Mangladeshin' and '4 Wheel Drive', we give you 'Weekend Warriors', a full-out tempo tripping, genre grinding, mash'n'grab. Recorded with 4 decks, 2 Serato Scratches and a whole lotta love, this set will bring you right back to those fast summer months while we wait out the cold ones ahead. Hullo all, just dropping in and introducing myself

So we're planning out our May tour right now and are looking for potential interested parties in booking us while we are on tour in the Ontario/Quebec region.

Currently availability: May 18th - 22nd

For those that don't know us, we're a DJ duo from Vancouver, BC and perform as Wood 'n' Soo focusing on 4-turntable sets from a variety of genres with an emphasis on live-remixing, turntablism, and all-around party rocking style music covering everything from hiphop to reggae to electro to breakbeat, dubstep, jungle, and whatever floats our boat. Over the years in Vancouver, we've headlined several shows and supported artists as diverse as Q-bert, Raekwon, Stanton Warriors, Lorin Bassnector, Fort Knox 5, Mat The Alien, and many others.

DJ Wood has also released several tracks in the last 2 years including 2 releases on Vancouver breakbeat label TwentyHz and one on the Good Groove label based in the UK.
