We are just gonna keep going and going and going this week....strictly bombs for your ass, more tunes coming this thursday AND friday so keep it locked.

[DRUM & BASS]

Various - Sektor 6 EP on Advanced.
This was supposed to be in last week but got lost in the shuffle. Half hard and half soft make this an EP for everyone. Digital tears the roof of the place with 'No Reality' using the classic sample that the RAM boys made famous. Commix back that choon up with pure liquid funk on 'Lights Go Out'. Total Science show us why they run 'tings once again with 'Finding Nemo' and you can flip that for Ill Logic & Raf's 'No More Words'. Smooth as buttah!

Various - Hardware Chronicles Vol.3 on Renegade Hardware.
That guy Various...he's pretty good eh? Enough with the fun stuff....this EP is striclty for the headstrong. The long awaited Chase & Status Remix of Future Cut's '20/20' is here! Flip it for the also highly anticipated 'Espionage' from down undah's finest, Bulletproof. So that was the good news. Bad news is the second record would make a better ashtray I'm afraid. Technical Itch AND Universal Project come with some scary yet frankly lackluster performances. However the first disc is still essential....so guess what? We're all screwed.

Mayhem & Impulse - Chamber/Rob F - Loudmouth on Shadow Law.
Two out of these three producers have actually played in Montreal! Yessss....we're on the right track people. Loudmouth is my pick here and it rock my socks. I would now like to announce that Montreal (or maybe just stabba's house) is the new capital of Neurofunk.

Ok i'm stopping now because it's 10,000 degrees outside. Need.......cold......beverage.

This Week's Knockout: Mary Mac!
Mary Mac is from Ottawa, and I can't decide if that makes her an Ottawatian or an Otter. After thinking about it for a while I decided that she was a model. That's right, a MODEL. But that has nothing to do with the fact that she's a kick-ass DJ. She is. I swear. She spun with Uberzone at Aria for christ's sake! Fine, don't believe me! See if I care! :P

I have so much clothes to give away this week I could redo your summer wardrobe....if you're a guy. If you're a girl I could do like half...so you'd be walking around with no pants on. Actually I think that's a good thing. New summer trend hello!?!?!?

You know the saying?: "Good things come in small packages"....well it's true, and here's why:

[DRUM & BASS]

XRS - Crowds in the Clouds/Cold Hand on Wildstyle.
DJ Marky's slightly more silent partner drops a solo cut on Wildchild's new imprint. While pure funky Brazillian tunes are what you'd expect from this side of the pond, XRS seems to drop it a bit harder on his own. While this record is still pure funk, there's a distinct hard edge that makes both sides of this twelve phenomenal.

Dillinja - All The Things/Forsaken Dreams on Valve.
From the forthcoming Dillinja LP 'My Sound', the big 'D' gives his all for this one....and I mean ALL. Doing his own vocal thing on top of his own drum breaks with his own trademark basslines, this is textbook Valve. Once again pushing the boundaries, Dillinja has found the frequency that breaks ya bassbins!

Salmonella Dub - Nu Steppa (Digital & NJC Remix)/EZ ON (Concord Dawn RMX) on Timeless.
If you haven't heard me dropping this over the past month, then you probably don't like me very much (Hi Stabba!), but seriously folks, I'm not that bad a guy and I dare you to hate this record.

Gridlok & Echo - Structure/Rock Lock on Violence.
I don't think we can have enough Gridlok records in the store...really. Even Jordan Dare thinks this record rocks, and he doesn't even like D&B anymore! As a matter of fact, he doesn't like you either! Oh wait...that's the REAL Jordan Dare....

Optiv - Geiger/Outside World on Random.
This label just came out of nowhere eh? If you don't know, Cause 4 Concern are about to drop some HUGE CHOONS and this little record is just the tip of the iceberg. Optiv being the main-brain behind C4C, drops his biggest solo tune to date. My started doing the electric-slide when she heard me play this....over the PHONE.

Kiko - Haze/Sabotage on Shadow Law.
LIMITED PROMOS. Oh yeah, we gots 3 of 'em people so get the neuro-shit while it's hot. If you hadn't noticed, he'll be in town very shortly so you'll want to get up on this shit and act like you know! Washington DC's finest drops his best yet on Mayhem's Shadow Law imprint. Unbelievable.

[BREAKS]

There are so many breaks records in the store this week I don't know what to do!

Koma & Bones feat. Robert Owens - Take Me Back on TCR.
/w Koma & Bones Remix and BLIM Remix.

Acen - Dirty Raver/Rennie Pilgrem's Industrial Disco Mix) on TCR Ten.

2 Bad Mice - Like It Deep/Simon Fury Dark Edit on Emuor.

Dylan Rhymes - The Way/Evil 9 Remix on Lot 49.

Decoder - My Sound/Hold It Down on WaysandMeans.

Distortions - Htiman/Slingshot on Hardcore Beats.

The Sound Of The Murray - The Sound Of The Murray on Bugged Out.
/w Club Mix, Acapella, Pub Mix, 'Bada Thing'.

Freq Nasty - Brookly To Brixton on Skint.
RESTOCK!

Dirk Technic - I Love You/PFN Remix on 10 Kilo.
RESTOCK!

DJ Icey - And Go!/Le Soleil D'Hiver RMX) on Zone.

Stereo 8 - Groove Diggin'/Get Above Yourself on Finger Lickin'.

This Week's Guest: IDJ Soundsystem
The IDJ Soundsystem was discovered on a small moon orbiting Jupiter. While it's origin remains unknown, it's effects certainly are: total annihilation of anyone in it's path! It is highly suggested not to confront IDJ Soundsystem without having made adequate preperations. When not in use, IDJ Soundsystem must be stored away in it's protective case. Failing to do so would relieve 'The Next Level' and it's parent company 'Club Saphir' of all liabilities. Use at your own risk, all rights reserved.

You know the drill. Free booze, free clothes, free me. no really....free me, please?

Ze've you are TOTALLY a porn addict.

[DRUM & BASS]

Kelis - Trick Me /w Remixes on Virgin.
The import of Kelis' newest single is pretty fresh. Maybe not 'Milkshake' fresh, but fresh nonetheless. Along with the original version you get another hip hop mix from Mac & Toolz. Flip for the good stuff...Artificial Intelligence hit you with the funk and using the vocal sparingly so as to not make you want to kill yourself. The big bonus is of course the Adam Freeland mix being thrown in for good measure.

Raiden - Scum On The Run/Spinal & Subtone - Ricochet on Metaphor!
SOLD OUT! Just wanted to let you know that we got it in...and it rules. MEGA props to Spinal & Subtone on their first proper tune being released, and bonus props to Raiden for being a great DJ and all-around wicked dude to hang out with. All hail METAPHOR!

Future Prophecies - Shadow/Chrome on Outbreak LTD.
With a release schedule in extreme overdrive, Future Prophecies don't stop churning out the hits! As if their album on Subtitles wasn't enough to keep you satisfied, here's more dark and dirty business from the Dutch duo.

Gridlok - Confrontation/World End on Transparent.
Ryan Powell AKA lord of darkness Gridlok comes correct once again, this time for Friction & Skinny's Transparent Audio imprint. You'd think that people would know that this guy's a genius by now eh? Rinsed by all the big boys, 'Confrontation' shows you exactly what he's made of, pure neuro-dark-funky-shit.

Future Prophecies - Reflecting Terror/Illusion Of Time on DSTRBD.
This is Corey K's tune of the week right here. not the a-side, for this one you're gonna have to flip it over and peep the melodic intro right down to the drop. Think 'Pitch Invasion' but WAY cooler, add a wicked synth-line and some very subtle vocals and you have a late night, main room, trance in your pants, hands in the air, ANTHEM.

Till next week, keep the peace...and the porn.

[DRUM & BASS]

Calibre - Drowning In You/Calibre & Zero Tolerance - One Word on Liquid V.
The second release for newly minted Liquid V, showcasing the smoother side of d&b, and who does it better then Calibre? Joined by Zero T on the flip, you know this one's in a dubby vein, focusing on some very warm basslines throughout.

Culture Shock - The Vega EP on Moving Shadow.
Next up in the limited edition X series from the Shadow camp comes new guy Culture Shock. I must admit I only know 2 things about this guy, first being that he's Dom & Roland's apprentice, which speaks volumes in itself. The second thing is that one of these tunes has already been lisenced for Dieselboy's new Mix CD: The Dungeonmaster's Guide.

Mampi Swift - Hi-Tek (Friction RMX)/Drunken Stars on Charge.
Friction steps up to re-vamp Mampi's classic and does a solid job of it. What more can I say?

Basic Operations - Quantum Leap/Mars VS Earth on Phuturo.
Mark my words: these boys are destined for greatness. You are looking at a record that signal the rise of a new star baby! Already signed to every single label that matters, Basic Operations are heavy and funky at the same time. Think Ed Rush & Optical meets Dylan.

NuBalance & Noetic - Bamboo Gain/Mayhem, Psidream & Infiltrata - Avalanche on Payload.
Stakka snatches these two bouncy little tunes for the third release on his Payload subsidiary. The tune to watch for is 'Avalanche', if you saw Psidream & Mayhem rocking this shit when they stormed through town you alreayd know what to expect.

Sonic - Retrothruster/The Big Blue on Space.
Best single yet from the 'better' half of Accidental Heroes.

D.Kay + Raw.Full - Fusion Dance (Klute Remix)/Move It on ill.skillz
What more can I say? ill.skillz AND klute on the same record? Oh. My. Gosh.

Dynamite MC - Ride/Dillinja RMX on Ultimate Dillema.
Pure beat perfection on this one, completely produced and crafted by High Contrast. Then dillinja remix then comes in and makes this record complete.

Zinc - Super Sharp Shooter/So Damn Fresh on Ganja.
Repress of this all time jungle classic!

Zen - Afterparty/Time Crisis on Reformed.

Digital & NJC - Take Me Higher/Rhino on Cosmic Web.

Skyver & D Jon - Justice/Face Down on Technique.

Aphrodite - Twitight/Slag Bass RMX on Aphrodite.
RESTOCK.

S-Man - Riot Gear/Do Your Duty Soldiers on Penny Black.
PROMO.

Audio & Wildchild - Helms Deep/Ultra Orange on Zombie.
PROMO.

[BREAKS]

Sole Claw - Edge Of The Earth/Madame Mercury & DJ Whatt RMX) on Pure Phunk.

Beastie Boys - Fight For You Right (Breaks Mix).
BACK IN!

Dirk Technic - I Love You/PFN Remix on 10 Kilo.

Derrick Carter - Where U At? (Breaks RMX)
Limited one-sided bootleg!

Meat Katie & Elite Force feat. Roland Clark - The Answer on Kingsize.

Meat Katie & Elite Force feat. Roland Clark - The Answer on Kingsize.
The 2nd one features: Santos' Dragone Remix and Elite Force Remix.
