Now that you know a little more about our CD, here is what you have to do to enter the contest :

Contest rules :

2. In the e-mail's subject, please write "Jester Records CD Contest" followed by your
trance username :example : CLOWN
3. in the e-mail itself, please let us know what artist you would like to see on a future release by Jester Records (please, no full-on, nighttime artists will be accepted). That means that if you write for example : Astrix: you will not be entered in the contest.
4. Reply to this thread so i can match your Isratrance name with your e-mail address.
5. Be 1 of 5 names to get drawn from the hat at random.
6. Contest ends on july 30th. No e-mails will be accepted after that date !!

The winners will be contacted and asked there mailing addresses. Cd's will be shipped out no later than Auguest 4th 2006 by standard ground mail (please allow at most 1 month for delivery depending on your country).

its 100% normal that there was next to nobody at this party, and at all the rest of the parties that are going down this summer..

Montreal promotors think they can throw 5 parties per year and get 200+ people at all of them.. well, the honest truth is, its the opposite that happens.. why ?? because people get tired, there are always better, more important parties to do, and when there isn't a party, its nice to take some sun and not go out for a change. With a HUGE party like Hard as Fuck coming up, people are saving themselves for that party, regardless of the rest.. just look at the turnout of Nostalgia. It had a fairly low attendance if you think of how packed the others were.. even rewire had about 100 people less than last year and i only throw 1-2 parties a year.

Just check the [ rave.ca ] calander and you'll see that everyone's throwing a party this summer.. EVERYONE !! And it has nothing to do with price either nor the line-up, nor the location.

Think about it..

there was Revival two weeks ago, about two weeks before that it was Tw2, last week was nostalgia, now this week's party, next week is St-jean and all there parties, the week after that Omar's in town, then a few weeks after that its Sysmic Breeze, then Pootie Tek, then Eclipse, then Shooting Star , then then then,,. and the list goes on..

we are tired i guess..

just to be clear, this message is general and has nothing to do with Dave or should be directed at Dave in anyway.. its just been this way for about 4 years now.. like Seb said, its really hard throwing parties in the summer because its so nice outside and because there many really important events to save up for such as Eclipse and Samadhi.. :)

On tonight's edition of Jester's Court, we have a very special set to share with you. Our favorite German duo strikes back offering yet another side of there musical perspective.

Extrawelt is Arne + Wayan, also known best as Midi Miliz, Spirallianz and 2/3'ds of The DELTA. In total, they have released over 5 full length albums and are working hard to release an Extrawelt album along with a new Delta album in the starts.

Extrawelt has been very succesfull these past few months, with a few new releases on some of the world's biggest labels such as Cacoon records which is run by Sven Vath.

Tune into tonight's show from 10 pm till 12 pm to get an idea of what these two german's have been up to for the past year or so.

Its great to see some TICON in a pure progressive set.. :)

good mix little one. I took a listen last night and i must say its not bad at all for a first mix. you still need to work on your EQing because when you finally decide to make the track transitions, you just overkill the bass and honestly it scares me most of the time becuase of the large volume difference. As for the beatmatching as a whole, you seem to be pretty much on cue, however each mix still feels like its slightly off, and because your transitions are short (with the exeption of that long mix at around 35 minutes) they tend to come in a little strong as mentionned above.

Also something i noticed was that durring your mixing, you tend to have the MIDS a little high on the track you bring in, that's what gives your beatmatching the feeling that its slightly off.. try working on eqing those mids to bring it in smoother. Ohh yeah, and when you make your transitions, you lower the previous track too much, too drastically, also causing the incoming track to seem alot louder.

on the flip side, FUCk, what's that first track bro its NUTZ.. your track selection is also very interesting and impressive and i have to agree with Mico that your first half is alot more groovyer.. :)

great mix Mike and keep practicing.. this mix was definatly better than Frank's first trainwreck mix.. lol.. :P serriously, i didnt recall hearing any drastic off-beats in your set Mike !! :)
