Jester Records and Productions, in collaboration with Akarien Productions would like to announce the chance to win Free Tickets, Free CD’s (From Jester Records) and free jewelry (from Karma Jewels) !!!

All you have to do is post up a funny video in this thread. It is as easy as that. The video can be home-made or something you find on the internet. It can be anything you want as long as the video is under 5 minutes long. There will be a total of 5 winners, 4 for the funniest video and 1 for participation. Here is the breakdown :

1st Prize : 2 Tickets for Rewire 3 + Free CD
2nd Prize : 2 Tickets for Rewire 3
3rd Prize : Karma Jewel’s combo pack
4th Prize : Free CD

And for participation :
5th prize : Karma Jewel’s combo pack + Free CD

Tout ce que vous devez faire pour participer est d’envoyer un vidéo dans ce “thread”. C’est aussi simple que ça. Le video peut être fait de vous ou peut prévenir d’internet. Il peut contenir n’importe quoi en autant que le video dure maximum 5 minutes. Il va y avoir un total de 5 gagnants, 4 pour le video le plus amusant et 1 pour la participation. Voici la listes des prix à gagner:

1er prix: 2 billets pour Rewire 3 et un CD
2e prix: 2 billets pour Rewire 3
3e prix: un ensemble de bijoux Karma Jewels

Puis pour la participation:

i watched the debat as well.. I think that Dumont is the one who really wants to change things without totally changing our lifestyles. Yeah, he didn't have any "numbers".. but is that really important ?? and did you see the stupid questions Boisclair was asking Dumont to answer?? it was specific situations that will not really reflect on how someone will govern a province.

Charest was very smooth throughout the whole night but was laughted at by Dumont a few times. Boisclair looses his temper too often and i think just that is a negative characteristic that can cause him to make wrong decisions in the future. Dumont was strong and while listening to him, he inspires confidence and acknowledges that facts that a change must be made.

It was a rather boring show !!

Seriously, voting for a party like "green" is really just giving the competition more chances to win, despite the values behind voting for them. I mean, don't get me wrong, i voted green last time around and it was cool n shit but it changed absolutely nothing in society and they didn't even come close to getting a seat.. yeah yeah, but if we don't vote for them, how can they win?? well, there are still WAY too many people voting liberals, like my mother for instance, who wouldn't even begin to think about a change happening to our lifestyles.

It really all comes down to voting for ADQ, Liberal or Parti Quebecois.

and for our sake, vote ADQ !!

Hey Y'all..

the title says it all.. i'm finnaly parting with my DJM-500..

its in the best of shape possible for a mixer that has been used alot in my home studio. It was serviced a few years back by Pioneer to get rid of some small "grichage".

All the knobs, lights and buttons work proper.

on channel 1, there is one of the buttons that "doesn't feel perfect" but it works perfectly.

tell me about it.. the Dj's name itself is supose to promote a party. Obviously, the dj will tell people about his bookings but it should not be expected none the less demanded out of him..

Look,
saying a verteran DJ is not worth 100$ is disrespect.
Taking more than one booking on the same night can be seen as disrespect if both parties offer simular styles of music.
It can also be seen as disrespect if the promotor is your friend...
It is disrespect towards your dj by not paying him and making requests (orders).
It is disrespect to a dj to threaten him after asking him to play.

in this case, it seems both parties are disrespectful to eachother.. work it out..

but remember this.. Kurse will not be the cause of your parties success (and i don't mean this in a bad way at all). People will go to the party because of the concept and because of the djs as a whole.

the moral of this story ??
Leave the poor kurse alone OR make him sign a contract next time OR book your friends next time !!!
